Spring Flower Hike - Bergem/Abweiler (15km)

Hello All,

We've been there a couple of times already, but this time it will be most beautiful, various white, yellow, and blue flowers are blooming in wide parts of the forest.

We will meet and start at the "Centre Culturel" in Bergem, which is also the starting point of the "Bergem Autopedestre".

There is a parking lot, if you want to come by car, but you can also get there easily by public transport.

The terrain is quite flat, just 250m up/down for 15 km, easy also for beginners. Hiking shoes are recommended nevertheless, some parts are known to be a bit slippery or even muddy.

After around 10km, we will find a place for the lunch break, about 15-30 minutes, depending on the weather.
Current forecast shows some drops of rain before the break, but we will see.

Public Transport:
Bus 611 will leave at 10:40 in front of Luxembourg "Gare Centrale" and will arrive at 11:06 in Bergem, bus stop "Bergem, Centre".
We will start the hike right after the bus has arrived.

Please clearly state the place and time of departure, and as a passenger, kindly bring a pair of clean shoes for the return trip.

As usual, the hike is at your own risk, and everyone is responsible for his/her own safety! Please come prepared (shoes, water, food...), know your limits, and don't hesitate to ask.
