Sobre nosotros
The goal of this group is pretty straightforward: meetup with other 20 & 30-somethings in SF, make great new friends, and join in on a variety of activities & events. I'll encourage a variety of events for all types of people - it can range from chilling in the park, to hiking, playing board-games, or bar-hopping; you propose it and we can try it. The only restrictions for this group are that you must be a nice person and actually show up (most of the time) when you RSVP! Nothing spoils things quite like having 20 people RSVP then being the only one at the cow-milking meet-up (if that's your thing). Looking forward to meeting you all, whether you're a new-grad east-coast transfer or a seasoned SF veteran.

Spring Picnic (NEW DATE) @ Golden Gate Park
Hey guys ~ We had a great Easter Picnic earlier in April. This event will be our official Spring Picnic! I'm not personally sure how many picnic's I'll be able to do between now and Fall so let's enjoy it to the fullest.
This is a ticketed event!! See below for details.
I'll bring a chest full of beer, some wines, and some other fun drinks for people to enjoy.
Purchase your ticket HERE
(100% refund within 24 hours before the event)
We'll have cornhole, Jenga, spike ball, volleyball, and plenty of other fun games going on throughout the day.
The location of the picnic is always a bit tricky to find for the first time. We will be super close to the pin that is dropped via the meetup. The location is west of the bathrooms at Hellman Hollow. We are usually just off the path a little.
This event is always a blast and is simply a massive picnic potluck at Golden Gate Park. Please bring some food to share with the group! We typically go and grab some grub with the remaining attendees after the event as well.
I'll also bring out a speaker and put together a special playlist to blast to the sound of making new friends.
I'll have 2 tables set-up with red/white picnic tablecloth and will be wearing a colorful headband so that we're easier to locate. I'm hoping to secure some space close to the bathrooms in Hellman Hollow. The pin drop on the meetup map is usually pretty accurate.
Thanks & I'm looking forward to seeing you all,
Arthur

Academy of Sciences Nightlife (Carnaval SF)
Little Shamrock, 807 Lincoln Way, San Francisco, CA, USLet's welcome spring with a fun event at the Academy of Science. The Academy of Science has its Nightlife event every Thursday which features a different theme each week. Nearly all of the exhibits are accessible and its a great chance to check out the museum without kids running everywhere.
This particular night is Carnival SF. Carnival is a vibrant multi-day festival celebrated with massive street parties, parades, costumes, and music, that is heavily celebrated in Southern America (typically starting mid February). There will be music, dances, and other festivities going on throughout the museum.
We'll have the opportunity to meet near Golden Gate Park at Little Shamrocks for a drink and quick meet n greet before walking over to the museum. If you can't meet us at Little Shamrocks you can catch us outside of the museum entrance at 6:30p. Valid ID is required to enter the museum after 6pm.
I recommend securing your ticket online prior to arrival as sometimes there's a line and it gets really cold in the park at night!
You can pickup your advance tickets here.
Parking can also be difficult around the park and please remember to not leave anything visible in your car! There are several buses as well as the Muni which can get you quite close to the museum.
Looking forward to seeing everyone and exploring the museum with beer in hand!

Golden Gate Bridge Bike Ride (weather permitting)
San Francisco Bicycle Rentals, 425 Jefferson St, San Francisco, CA, USAlrighty, it's about that time that we ventured over the golden gate bridge on a fun and mostly easy bike ride!
This event is always a gamble with the San Francisco weather but we tend to get lucky.
Route:
We'll depart Fisherman's Wharf at the bike rental location in the morning and ride over the bridge into Sausalito where we'll grab some lunch and check out the small tourist town.Everyone is on their own for lunch once we get into Sausalito. After lunch you'll have the option to opt out (some people will be ready to head back) and take the ferry back to Fisherman's Wharf.
Those looking for a bit more adventure will have the option to ride into Tiburon with the remaining survivors. Once we hit the edge of Tiburon we'll grab some grub and a drink while we wait to catch the ferry back to the Ferry Building. From there it's a quick ride north along the Embarcadero to the bike rental location.
The Ride:
We'll be stopping to check out some awesome views along the way which include the Marin Headlands and other famous 'tourist hot spots'. The ride itself does have some uphill climbs and while it's open to everyone, it may be difficult for those not comfortable riding a bike! The ride itself will take almost 2 hours of pure riding but we'll be stopping pretty regularly to gather the group and check out different areas. Because of this, the ride itself becomes quite lengthy and relaxed. I recommend bringing some water and sunscreen!
Every now and then we'll break into two different groups with the first group doing a slightly more challenging course before meeting back up with everyone.
Bike Rentals:
Everyone is responsible for their own bikes. If you need to rent a bike I would recommend checking out San Francisco Bicycle Rentals (http://www.bikerentalsanfrancisco.com/) - this is also the location where we will kickoff from in the morning.I recommend the 'City Bike' or Hybrid. They also have performance bikes or even electric bikes available.
If you reserve online you'll get 20% off which makes the City Bike price somewhat reasonable. Reservations are also currently recommended due to popularity.
Weather: If it's raining or there are heavy winds we will postpone this event.
Parking: I wouldn't recommend it. Take public transportation or a taxi service if you can. There IS parking in Fisherman's Wharf but it's either extremely hard to find or costs quite a bit to park for the entire day.
Ferry Schedule:
