LGBTQ+ Book Club: Dancer from the Dance by Andrew Holleran

Join CDMX Pride Pages this November for Dancer from the Dance by Andrew Holleran—a classic of queer literature about the search for love and belonging amid the dance floors of 1970s New York and the summer escape of Fire Island.
Witty, lyrical, and bittersweet, the novel explores gay desire, friendship, and the distance between the lives we dream of and the ones we live. We’ll talk about its characters, its portrait of queer community, and what resonates with us today.
Whether you’re a returning member or joining us for the first time, come connect with fellow LGBTQ+ book lovers and share your perspective.
