Join CDMX Pride Pages for our October book club as we discuss Chuck Tingle’s Bury Your Gays, a sharp, darkly funny queer horror novel that turns one of LGBTQ+ storytelling’s most notorious tropes on its head.

The story follows a successful gay Hollywood screenwriter who is pressured to kill off the queer characters in his latest project. When terrifying figures from his past creations begin appearing in the real world, he is forced to confront an industry that would rather erase queer stories than let them have their happy endings.
Clever, suspenseful, and perfect for October, Bury Your Gays blends horror with humor and social commentary while exploring queer representation, authenticity, creativity, and who gets to decide how LGBTQ+ stories are told.
