Feminist Question Time LIVE w/ speakers from around the world! Every Saturday AM
Feminist Question Time LIVE w/ speakers from around the world! Every Saturday AM
We are not alone! Come listen, learn, and share at this weekly ***WOMEN ONLY*** presentation by Women's Declaration International (formerly Women's Human Rights Campaign). Join this sorority of radical feminists from around the world as they inform us about the challenges and struggles in their own countries. Chat with other attendees and put questions to the panelists. Following the presentation, you are invited to join breakout rooms (women only please) with the panelists. These weekly online webinars present a new panel each week from around the world, often reporting on a central theme. They are attended by a global feminist and activist community of between 250-350. The main focus is how gender ideology is harming the rights of women and girls. The speaker list and any particular theme is usually announced mid-week before the webinar. Information will be added here as it becomes available. A clear example has unfolded in New York where a self-described "trans-woman lesbian" (a hetero man in a dress) has used gender-neutral language amendments to supplant women in elected offices that had been specifically reserved for females. The arrangement of "1 man + 1 woman" had been put in place to ensure women's fair representation in an arena from which they have been historically underrepresented or excluded: [https://thevelvetchronicle.com/exclusive-decaudin-preps-for-election-recount-after-unofficially-taking-2-female-seats-new-details-uncovered/](https://thevelvetchronicle.com/exclusive-decaudin-preps-for-election-recount-after-unofficially-taking-2-female-seats-new-details-uncovered/) Women's Liberation Front: "New York Democrats have decided to insult women by pretending in public that state committee member Emilia Decaudin is literally female..." Charlotte H3 Trail #1239 - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!!!!
Charlotte H3 Trail #1239 - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!!!!
We are the Charlotte chapter of the international Hash House Harriers (CH3), which is an adult-humored, non-competitive running group. "A Drinking club with a running problem" Hashing is a mixture of athleticism and sociability, fun having and hard work; a refreshing break from the nine-to-five routine. Hashing is an exhilaratingly fun combination of r\*nning, orienteering, and partying, where bands of Harriers and Harriettes chase Hares on two to four mile trails through town, country, jungle, and desert, all in search of exercise, camaraderie, and good times. The irreverent group typically gets together to humorously note on-trail misbehavior with tongue-in-cheek drinking songs and “down downs”. We meet up at 2 PM on Saturdays and go on a scavenger hunt through the woods and town, for beers that have been hidden by one of our members. There is no cost for your first visit, so put on some old sneakers, long socks, weather appropriate gear, and come have a beer with us! **Theme: Earth Day/Recycle/Clothing Swap!** **In honor of Earth Day (April 22nd) we are doing a hash gear revival/swap/spring cleaning your closet!** **Hare: Ballgag and Dungeons and Strap ons** **Special guest appearance by; Squeaky who will take on whatever gets left behind and find a new beautiful purpose for it.** **Time: 2 pm** **Location: 3100 Winterfield Place Go all the way down the road til you see the sign for Winterfield park** **SPECIAL NOTE; We will be adjacent to a lot of parks so keep that in mind for parking and overall behavior you fucking fucks.** **Hash Cash: $10** **venmo - @justin-walter-6** **Trail Type: Springy** **Shiggy: Very. 4/5 although no planned water crossing.** **Turds: If they're good with shiggy** **Extra Credit: Nah.** **What to Bring: Shiggy socks, carinum grear, sunscreen, vessels, bug spray and finally;** **Old hash clothing and or accessories to pass down to them young hashers. By breathing in a circular rhythm, you can reach altered states of consciousness to release emotional traumas, pain and negative emotions stored in the body and the subconscious, making room for more love and joy to enter your life. Learning how to enhance your breathing can also help with many health challenges such as: anxiety, asthma, depression, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, arthritis, poor digestion, high blood pressure, panic attacks, muscle tension, and attention deficit disorder. Proper breathing can aid in the removal of energetic blockages, thereby enhancing the healing of long-term health conditions. Additional benefits of Breathwork include releasing of toxins at a cellular level, balancing the nervous system and release of cellular memory of past emotional trauma and negative mental patterns. Hike Blacklick Woods and The Canopy. Optional lunch after.
Over time I'm hoping to organize a hike to all the Franklin County Metro Parks. This is the first one so if you're interested jump in! We'll start with the Canopy Walk, a cool feature of this park. Climb 100 stairs to the top - or take the elevator if stairs aren't your thing. At the top there are a bunch of things to play on - a rope bridge, a fireman pole that we can slide down - and more! About fifteen minutes there and we'll head to the natural trail, Buttonbush, Maple and Beech Trail for 2.2 miles then do a 1.7 mile loop on the paved Greenway Trail. We'll be passing our cars as we transition if you only want to do the first loop, or the second loop. Pace of around 3.5 mph but no one left behind. If there is an interest we can grab lunch nearby afterward.
