AWS Enterprise User Group - Nov-2020 - Blockchain Application Today

Hi there!

Early November we will have two talks which are both speaking about Blockchain.

The first presentation by Arun Devan will focus on aspects of blockchain technology that are suitable for enterprise applications - such as in supply chains.

The speaker, Arun Devan is a seasoned technopreneur with multiple ventures that delivered digital transformation projects to companies of various sizes in Singapore and in the region (ASEAN, Hong Kong, South Korea, UAE). He is currently developing microlearning solutions focused on emerging technologies - blockchain, quantum computing and more.

He is an accredited Gnowbe Mobile Instructional Designer. He has also acquired the Advanced Certificate in Learning & Performance from the Institute of Adult Learning, Singapore. In the second presentation Michael Edge will present some examples of blockchain solutions running on AWS, and will also discuss the differences between the blockchain-related services at AWS, such as Quantum Ledger and Amazon Managed Blockchain.

The meetup will be held on Wednesday, 4th November 2020, from 7pm.
To do our part in fighting the spread of the virus we have opted to practices physical distancing, but still get together social! We suggest that everyone stocks up chips and put beer in the fridge. Pretty sure that despite the Blockchain we have stuff to talk about - just one day after the US elections.
