Purpose: to promote activities that provide opportunities for attendees to practice English and Italian while connecting with each other and learning about Italian history and culture. We currently have both in person and online activities.

In ogni città, dal nord al sud, il caffè rappresenta una pausa, un’occasione di incontro e un’espressione dell’identità locale. In questa lettura impareremo la storia e la tradizione di questa bevanda nazionale e scopriremo alcune delle caffetterie più famose d’Italia.Audience: For English speakers learning Italian at the intermediate level.
The Plan:
- We will all read the presentation in Italian within smaller groups/breakout rooms.
- We will translate the passages into English.
- We will gather back in the main room to reflect on the reading and discuss our thoughts.
