Famous for its Ex-Convento de San Juan Bautista, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tlayacapan is also celebrated for its traditional pottery and festive Chinelo dancers. YECAPIXTLA
Nestled in the hills of Morelos, the captivating town of Yecapixtla is a hidden gem just waiting to be discovered. From its colorful colonial architecture to its breathtaking natural scenery, Yecapixtla offers visitors an authentic glimpse into traditional Mexican culture and small-town life. On this incredible visit, you'll get to wander the cobbled streets, visit historic churches and monasteries, and soak up the relaxed pace of life. Here we can also try the famous dish cecina, that is made from sheets of thin marinated and salted beef and / or a pork cut that is sliced and coated with chili pepper (cecina enchilada). In the restaurant of our preference / recomendation, they also have other options, including vegan and vegetarian (food not included).
