De qué se trata
We are a diverse gathering of cool, chill young people with open minds and adventurous, eclectic tastes. What most of us have in common is a love of Neo-Soul; the music genre that fuses contemporary R&B, 1970s style soul, jazz, and elements of alternative-hip hop. But we also love Spoken Word, and have other musical interests like Afro-Beat, jazz, R&B, reggae, and even rock.
More than anything, what we love the most is making new friends, while having new experiences with an international flavor in the city at the crossroads of the world.
Most members are cool singles in their 20s-40s who are progressive and upbeat people from different backgrounds and heritages - from African to Asian descent, European to Eskimo, Latino to Lebanese, and everything in between.
WHAT DO WE DO? We love live music and spoken word - especially when we can meet the artists. We love meeting each other in a wide variety of venues with international flavor from hookah bars to sidewalk cafes to Dim Sum in Chinatown. We drink. We mingle. We chill. We laugh. We unwind. We appreciate the live performances. We applaud. We leave. We tell our friends. We return each month for more!
