Bringing Mindfulness and Nature in Family Live
What is this group about?
- The purpose of the group is to meet together parents that are interested to bring in their family life more mindfulness and more nature experiences.
- It is all about how to become a mindful and kindful parent in a playful and creative way with a lot of self-compassion involved.
- It is to bring mindfulness and families together in nature, through fun activities
- To explore different ways to mindfully connect and reconnect with nature, with family and self.
- Find how connection with nature is beneficial to your mental health
- Get kids (and yourself) out of the screens
Who should join in?
This group is for you:
- If you already are a parent or just planning to become one.
- Your kids are any age from newborn up to teenage
- You are interested in Mindfulness and would like to learn more and eventually become a Mindful Parent.
- You would like to spend more quality time in Nature.
- Become part of a community of like-minded folks.
- If you like to learn new things in a playful and creative way.
- You like to explore new tools for improving wellbeing and mental health.
What will we do?
- We will meet once a month in the park of Chiswick House and Gardens, London, W4 2RP for a Nature Walk and Fun Nature Activities together.
- Walks are scheduled usually every 3rd Sunday of the month, from 10.00 am to 12.00 am.
- Each month we will explore different topics related to Nature and Mindfulness.
- Each Nature Walk is packed with fun activities for both kids and parents.
Our Venue:
- All our Nature Walks are happened at the beautiful park of Chiswick House and Gardens, W4 2RP.

- We always meet and start the walks in front of the Chiswick House and Gardens Café.
Health and Safety - Community Guidelines
- Meetup members need to be at least 18 years old.
- While family groups are more than welcome on Meetup, anyone under the age of 18 attending an event must be accompanied by an adult.
- You can learn more about the age policies in Meetup community guidelines.
- Dogs are not allowed on our walks, as we don't know if other participants feel comfortable with them.

Chiswick House & Gardens, London (W4 2RP)Join us for a special summer edition of our family-friendly Nature Walks for Mindful Parents — this time combining two beautiful experiences in one: Forest Bathing and The Art Shack!
### 🌱 What to Expect
- Forest Bathing: Discover the calming practice of Shinrin-yoku (Forest Bathing) with gentle mindfulness exercises designed to deepen your connection with nature and awaken your senses.
- Nature Art & Creativity: Unleash your creativity through nature sketching and simple craft activities in our woodland base. We’ll provide some art materials, but feel free to bring your own paints, pencils, or sketchbook!
No previous experience in mindfulness or art is required — just come as you are and enjoy a nurturing time in nature.

- Everyone in this group is welcome!
- Come solo or bring your children, friends (up to 5 guests per member), or family.
- Please note: All attendees under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Please also note: Dogs are not allowed during this session, to help us maintain a calm and focused environment.
### 🧺 What to Bring
- Comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing
- A sunhat, sunscreen, and water bottle for warmer days
- A small backpack
- A notebook, pencil, or your own sketching kit
- A bag for collecting nature treasures (feathers, leaves, pinecones, etc.)
- Optional: binoculars or magnifying glass for wildlife observation

Toilets are available near the Café.
