Imagine a co-working space where everyone is with headphones, laptops, mostly being 'alone' all day ...
or a cafe/restaurant/bar where pretty much all people talk to people they already know..
The 'Connection space' is exactly the opposite of that; a fun social environment outside family and work, where we simply meet and hangout with new and old friends.
Thats it.
No to phones, laptops, zoom-calls, books (whats that?! :) )
No to a specific reason to meet up (eg. specific hobbies, genders, age groups, languages etc)
No to just talking to your friends
Not a dating, not a party, not an expat-only meetup
Yes to simple in-person(not online) connection with new and old friends

How we meet? Will organise indoor face-face events in a restaurant/bar and outdoors depending on weather.

- What is this event? free, offline, homey fun events to meet new/old friends without any specific filtering (like interests, genders, age groups) or process. The event is that simple😀
- Afterparty will be lead by Indro (provided enough interest)
- Event is taking place 100%, rain or shine. If rain the tables will be located under the rain-protected tent of Frau Gerold's just like last year.
- Indro and Adrian and Salvi will co-host this event as Christos will be away.
- 30mins before event we will post in the comments of this page the exact location of the tables.

TIPS:- Look out for a good smile/vibe in a person/group of 2-3 people and say "Hi my name is xxx, can I join?".
- Try something different (person, game, table, activity) often until you find fun quality connection
- Invest time(not quickly pop-by) as friendships are an investment

- Come back: big turnaround, people come randomly at each event, so you never know who you ll meet

- WHAT is Connection Space? Fun hangout events that create a "fixed" recurring homey environment for meeting new & old friends without any specific reasons (like interests, genders, age or countries). The event is that simple
- WHAT is NOT Connection Space? NOT a drinks/party event (responsible drinking, no shots). NOT a dating event. NOT foreigners-only, but everyone welcome
- WHERE idea comes from? It comes from Greek villages where 50+ years ago people met new and old friends in local village-coffeeshops without any organisation. That social environment was there waiting for them to re/connect. See photos HERE
