â Group Rules:
- Conduct:
Please be respectful to all members and organizers. Racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or any other bigoted behavior will not be tolerated. - Attendance:
If you RSVP for an event but canât make it, please update your RSVP as soon as possible to free up your spot. For events that require reservations or have long waitlists, cancellations made less than 24 hours before the event may count as no-shows. If you no-show for 2 or more events, you may be temporarily banned from attending future events. - This is not a dating group:
While connections may naturally form, this groupâs primary focus is on building friendships and creating a positive social space. Unwanted advances or inappropriate behavior are not acceptable. If someone makes you feel uncomfortable, please reach out to an organizer - we're here to help. - Age & Eligibility:
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all events are 18+ only. This group is primarily intended for people in their 20s and 30s. Thereâs some flexibility for your plus-ones, but most events wonât be suitable for minors. - Alcohol & Behavior:
Some events may take place at venues that serve alcohol. Moderate drinking is fine, but excessive consumption or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated - especially if it endangers you or others.
---
Breaking any of the stated rules may result in either a temporary or permanent ban.
Our main goal is to create an atmosphere where all members feel included and welcome. Any behavior that impedes this goal will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
If another attendeeâs behavior ever makes you feel uncomfortable or violates the rules listed above, please let one of the event hosts or organizers know. We want to keep our community welcoming, safe, and enjoyable for everyone - and we rely on your feedback to address issues and uphold that standard.

Wednesday Night at the Winnipeg Art Gallery đš đŒïž (Free Entry)
Winnipeg Art Gallery, 300 Memorial Blvd., Winnipeg, MB, CAâš Wednesday Night at the WAG + Screening of My Winnipeg âš
Join us for a laid-back evening at the Winnipeg Art Gallery, where weâll wander through stunning exhibitions, spark great conversations, and soak in a bit of culture - all without spending a dime!
This week, the WAG is screening Guy Maddin's 2007 local classic My Winnipeg. The screening begins at 7:30, so we'll spend some time looking at the art on the upper floor before heading down to the theater and grabbing some seats together.
This is a casual event, so feel free to skip the film and keep exploring the galleries if thatâs more your vibe. đ
The start time is flexible too, although as a heads-up, we will be leaving the front area and heading up to the second floor right at 6 PM. If you arrive after that, you might need to catch up, but weâll post location updates in the event comments to help you find us.
đïž Admission: Free!

My Winnipeg Overview
"Canadian filmmaker, Guy Maddin conducts a personal tour of Winnipeg, Manitoba, the town where he grew up and still lives, in a film he calls a âdocu-fantasia. By combining archival footage and interviews, dreamlike camera work and recreated scenes, the filmmaker builds a portrait of Winnipeg that manages to be historical, intimate, surreal, entertaining, and entirely his own."
