Visit the Fashion & Textile Museum!

Come along on Saturday 4th April for a visit to the Fashion & Textile Museum.

About the Museum
The Fashion and Textile Museum was founded in 2003 by fashion designer Zandra Rhodes. It is the only museum in the UK dedicated to showcasing contemporary fashion and textile design.

It was re-inaugurated in 2008, as part of Newham College, and hosts a programme of changing exhibitions exploring fashion, style and couture, as well as hands-on workshops and masterclasses.

The building the museum sits in has become a tourist attraction due to its colour scheme of hot pink, burnt orange, yellow, and bright blue.

The visit should last about 1h 30mins and is self-guided.

Cost
Entry cost is £12 per person for Full Members and £14 per person for everyone else. If you are an ArtFund member, its £5.75 per person. Payable on the day by cash or credit card.

To become a Full Member (£14 a year), either:

Afterwards
After we will head to the museum cafe, for a chat over a drink from 4:00pm.

If you can make it, please come to the pub afterwards, as its a great way to meet and get to know others after the visit.

Please note, we only wait outside the station for 10 minutes after the advertised meeting time, so please be early or on time.
