Introduction to {ggplot2} in R

We are so excited to announce our next virtual meetup which will serve as an introduction to {ggplot2} in R.

{ggplot2} is an open-source data visualization package for creating graphics, based on The Grammar of Graphics.

We are so pleased to be hosting Tanya Shapiro who will animate a practical session about the use of {ggplot2} in R.

➡️ About the workshop:
Learn the basic concepts of ggplot2, a data visualization library in R, and how to apply them to create and customize plots. In this workshop, we will explore a dataset from #TidyTuesday and create a total of 3 data visualizations.

➡️ About our invited trainer:
Tanya Shapiro (she/her) is a freelance analyst and content creator with a passion for data visualization. For the past five years she has worked in a number of data roles within the insurance industry, using both R and Python. When she’s not working on data projects, you can find her working out on her Peloton or exploring downtown St. Petersburg, Florida

by running install.packages("package.name") in R
