## April In Paris Teas – 2025

## Oui oui, it is true! Our très populaire April In Paris Teas will be served indoors and are also available To Go. The set menu is a Parisian inspired version of our Cottage Classic Tea, a lavish four course soiree starting with a cup of soup, then a variety of finger sandwiches and savories, followed by a scone with curd, jam and whipped cream, and the grand finale is a luscious dessert tray. We can also prepare Vegetarian and Gluten Free versions of this Tea with advance notice, so let us know your specific needs when you make your reservation.

The town of Julian has many small shops & you can buy wonderful apple & fruit pies at the bakeries. It is in a remote little town that is about an hour northeast of San Diego. They have excellent scones.

I have been here before and it is wonderful. Also it is a bit of a drive and best to get there early to find parking. The small town is easy to find and everything is within walking distance - plenty of street parking but might have to walk a little. If you would like vegetarian or have a special diet put a comment in the comment section below so I can let them know in advance. Thank you!

### Thank you Jean for letting me know about this event!This is the 15th Annual Johnna’s Tea Party! The best Tea Party in Simi Valley is coming back in high fashion. Come dressed in your fancy clothes and hats, eat some delicious tea party delights, be entertained, and of course, drink some tea! As you know, this event sells out quickly, so get your tickets soon!Johnna was a young woman who lost her battle with cancer on March 21, 2009. Through it all, she was lovingly supported by a women’s cancer support group that called themselves “Hany’s Hair Em.” This group of women chose this name because their beloved Dr. Hany Khalil was Egyptian and they all had an on-again, off-again, relationship with their hair due to chemotherapy.

### Johnna’s mom, Maryann Fiore Hopkins, created the High Tea Party in her memory. Its main purpose was to help provide assistance to the group that had provided so much support to her.

### In 2011, Dr. Hany Khalil formed the Marcelle Erian Cancer Foundation. To this day it provides counseling, medical supplies, family assistance, medications and personal support to cancer patients not covered by insurance plans.

### Johnna’s Tea Party has been a local community event since 2009. The funds it raises have supported the Marcelle Erian Cancer Foundation and will continue to support local charities and our community. Thank you for your participation and generosity. Rotary Club of Simi Sunset
