On Oppression, Needs, and Community Solutions.

A weekend where we learn about communal human needs, creative writing, community based solutions, and theatre.

The Itinerary is as follows:

• Friday evening: We will introduce the idea of needs vs satisfiers of needs to frame the issues that we face individually and collectively as human beings.
• Saturday Morning: Together, we'll share and explore how our needs have been, and can be met individually and through a communal lens.
• Saturday Afternoon: We'll hold a creative writing workshop to give you tools to start to write short sketches to be explored further in forum theatre, as per the theater of the oppressed by Augusto Boal
• Saturday Evening: Free time from 5pm.
• Sunday Morning: we'll act and read out simple sketches that we've written to promote dialogue and share reflections with one another.

Ticket price is 200 Euros, inclusive of lodging and meals, and we'll have a Q&A on 1 June via zoom to do introductions and present the project more in depth.
