This group was initially set up specifically for those of you looking for people to meet up with to learn to swing dance, (jive, jitterbug, lindyhop, rock'n'roll ), all those lovely partner dances from the 1940s and 1950s! and expanded to those looking to meet up with like minded people to visit vintage / exhibitions and other retro events you'd like to suggest.

So, if you were little nervous of attending events and classes by yourself, you no longer have to worry! Here you can find like minded people to join you in your quest to get on the dance floor and claim your part of a thriving vintage social life!

We (the organisers of this group) aim to have a host ready to greet you at the MEETUP classes and events that we suggest, so you will always have a point of contact and someone to ask (or be asked by) to dance with!

We will try to maintain a variety of events for you to attend and hope you will too will suggest events that might be of interest.

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SUGGEST AN EVENT OR CLASS !
