Mit diesem Meilentörn soll die sehr komfortable Parana III von Valencia nach Korfu gebracht werden und wird dort einen festen Liegeplatz für die laufende Saison bekommen. Mit dieser dritten und letzten Etappe wird die Strecke von Sizilien Catania nach Korfu Marina Gouvia zurückgelegt. Da kannst Du mit dabei sein. Einzigartige und unbezahlbare Momente auf offenem Meer. Delfine die mit uns mitschwimmen, Sonnenuntergang während voller Fahrt, den Tag mit einem langen Lichtstreifen am Horizont beginnen und gute Zeit unter Gleichgesinnten verbringen. Das wird ein Erlebnis zu Beginn des Jahres.

Route
Auf diesem Törn zum Meilen sammeln starten wir auf Sizilien in Catania und segeln erst etwas nordwärts, bis wir einen kurzen Absprung haben nach Süditalien. Bis zum Ziel Korfu werden es gesamt etwa 435 Seemeilen werden. Entlang der Sole und des Absatzes von Italien, machen wir gelegentlich Halt bei kleineren Ortschaften. Ob wir nach Gallipoli noch weiter nördlich bis Brindisi segeln werden oder ob wir gleich rüber nach Korfu segeln, hängt von den Wetter und Windverhältnissen ab.

Meilentörn Organisation
Mit dem jungen (42J) und erfahrenen (36't Seemeilen) Skipper Timon Schmid und einem Co-Skipper, bist Du in guten Händen für einen lehrreichen Meilentörn. Jeder Teilnehmer wird in die Tagesjobs, sowie in die jeweiligen Nachtschichten eingeteilt. Nachtwache und Nachtschichten sind für Dich keine Fremdworte mehr und Du bist im Team gut einsetzbar. Die grosszügigen Doppelkabinen werden jeweils zu Zweit belegt. Wir haben für die Strecke genug Zeit eingeplant um allfällige Puffertag für Schlechtwetter einsetzen zu können. Die An- und Abreisen werden individuell geplant. Die Verpflegung und Küchendienst wird gemeinsam an Bord aufgeteilt und jeder hilft da mit wo er kann.

Kosten
In dem Preis von € 1’640.- sind alle Kosten an Bord gedeckt. Das beinhaltet Skipper, Verpflegung, Snack, alle Getränke, Treibstoff, Liegekosten, Endreinigung, Laundry, Dingi shuttle und garantiert viele Meilen.
Nicht inbegriffen sind Reiseversicherung, Hin- und Rückreise, Transfer von Flughafen zum Hafen, Trinkgeld, persönliche und individuelle Bedürfnisse.

On this cruise we explore the island around St.Maarten.

After the start we will spend one day on the south coast of St.Maarten, then we sail to Saint Barth to visit the most beautiful bays.

Then we will sail to the northwest up to Anguilla, to explore the western small island groups and to sail around them. Afterwards we sail over the West Cape of Anguilla back to the starting port.

In the foreground is here in 1-ster Linie the comfortable vacation sailing, but will cover this week around 120 nautical miles.

Depending on wind and weather, the planned route with the nautical miles may vary slightly.

April 6 - April 30, 2023

On this cruise an Atlantic crossing is announced ⛵️❤️

We start on St. Marteen and will keep NNE to an altitude of about 28° North to catch better wind windows there. The winds at the start in the Leewards tend to blow from the east before changing to south to southwest.

However, the winds are rather mild at this time of year, and there can often be longer periods of calm. Of course, low-pressure areas also pass by, where it can sometimes be really stormy.
Depending on the wind direction, it can of course come to uncomfortable cross courses, so it is rather difficult to estimate how long the whole thing will last.

Up to the Azores it is about 2200 nautical miles, but depending on the wind it can quickly be 2500 - 2700 nautical miles. Should be to be created however in good 3 weeks.

For this trip it is an advantage if you have already been on board for at least 1 week on a blue water trip, where day and night was sailed, to be able to estimate the whole better.
If we arrive earlier in the Azores, we will of course sail diligently in this wonderful area.

Sail towards the eternal spring ⛵️🐬

In this season, the various islands of the Azores show their most beautiful side, so don't miss that oportunity!

We start in Sao Miguel, as this island is the most accessible. Saturday afternoon puff in, shopping and familiarize with the yacht "Antipaxos", including safety briefing.

Sunday noon we start with our first beat, which will already be a night trip, as we will sail a good 100 sm to Terceira. We will continue with relatively short distances over the islands of Sao Jorge and Pico.
To get back to our destination island Sao Miguel, there will be again a longer stretch of good 150 nautical miles.

Indeed the itinerary may varie depending on weather conditions.
