En el **Parc Cervantes** (Les Corts), uno de los más bonitos y desconocidos de la ciudad, se encuentra una inmensa colección de rosales de todo el mundo. El conjunto botánico forma **una de las colecciones de rosas más importantes de Europa.** Además, una vez al año se celebra el **Concurso Internacional de Rosas** donde se premia la mejor rosa entre los centenares de tipos distintos que crecen en el parque. Rosas rojas, amarillas o azules; rosales-enredaderas o en miniatura… un total de **245 variedades** de esta flor se exponen en el Parc de Cervantes del barrio de Pedralbes. Podremos caminar entre ellas, oler sus aromas y admirar su belleza. Se puede disfrutar de este parque casi todo el año, aunque en esta época primaveral el espectáculo visual se encuentra en **su mejor momento.** Posteriormente, complementaremos nuestra actividad con una **visita guiada** al curioso y desconocido barrio de **casitas blancas** de la Mercè. Un rincón de ensueño, con un pasado muy curioso, que vale la pena descubrir. ¡Vamos a descubrirlo! Éste es el **PLAN:** 1\. ***Caminada matinal per algunes de les roques més característiques de la Serra de l'Obac*** La Serra de l'Obac, una mica apartada de la concorreguda Mola, permet fer rutes ombrívoles entre bonics boscos i espectaculars roques, algunes de les quals es poden pujar fins dalt i gaudir de vistes espectaculars; tot això amanit amb importants restes de l'ocupació humana de temps passats i natura en la seva màxima plenitut. ¡NUEVA ACTIVIDAD ÚNICA! Tras más de un año cerrado el viejo **funicular del Tibidabo** ha reabierto sus puertas completamente nuevo, con un diseño espectacular que se convertirá sin duda, en **la nueva atracción de Barcelona.** En Descubridores os proponemos una nueva ruta cultural que nos permitirá subir en **la "Cuca de Llum"** (así han bautizado al nuevo transporte), para disfrutar de él y contemplar en la hora del atardecer las espectaculares vistas de la ciudad. Precisamente para mejorar **la panorámica**, los nuevos vagones son totalmente acristalados y ofrecen al pasajero una vista única y nueva hasta el momento. ¡Acompáñanos en esta nueva experiencia! Pero además, complementaremos nuestro **paseo con explicaciones históricas sobre la montaña del Tibidabo**, el Parque de Atracciones, el Observatorio Fabra, Vallvidrera... Una vez arriba, recorreremos el llamado **"Camí del Cel"**, es decir, la parte histórica y libre de acceso del parque de atracciones y **disfrutaremos del ambiente animado de esa zona**. También hablaremos de la **historia de algunas de las atracciones más emblemáticas del Tibidabo.** Como siempre, contaremos con guía profesional **licenciado en Historia por la UB.** Éste es nuestro **PLAN**: 1. Des de aquí seguirem la riera de Gallecs fins Mollet del Valles. Com que és una sortida matinal qui vulgui quedar-se a dinar pot fer-ho en algun dels picnics dels parcs que trobarem. I si no vol dinar de carmanyola, també hi ha restaurants de menjar casolà bé de preu. We'll hike 3.4 miles on the Killdeer and Yellowlegs Trails - both out and back gravel trails. If we want more mileage we can repeat an out and back. Pace of around 3.5 mph, no one left behind and those who want to go faster sure can! As always optional lunch after. Over time I'm hoping to organize a hike to all the Franklin County Metro Parks. This is the first one so if you're interested jump in! We'll start with the Canopy Walk, a cool feature of this park. Climb 100 stairs to the top - or take the elevator if stairs aren't your thing. At the top there are a bunch of things to play on - a rope bridge, a fireman pole that we can slide down - and more! About fifteen minutes there and we'll head to the natural trail, Buttonbush, Maple and Beech Trail for 2.2 miles then do a 1.7 mile loop on the paved Greenway Trail. We'll be passing our cars as we transition if you only want to do the first loop, or the second loop. Pace of around 3.5 mph but no one left behind. If there is an interest we can grab lunch nearby afterward.
