Hi everyone, On **Sunday, April 12**, 2026, Christian and I are planning a spring hike from Seebenstein to Grimmenstein. This hike is all about walking, wide views, and enjoying the landscape together with plenty of time for conversation, short breaks, and simply being outdoors. **Highlights** * 🏰 **Seebenstein Castle & Museums-Burg Grimmenstein** — history and views combined * ⛰️ **Türkensturz rock formation** with one of the best viewpoints in the area * 🌿 **Varied landscape** with forest paths, open sections, and gentle climbs * 🌄 **Wide views** across the region at several points along the route **Meeting Point & Travel** 📍 **Meeting point:** Praterstern station at **08:15 a.m.**, near the ticket machines We will take the 08:42 a.m. train to Wr. Neustadt and change there to a local train. Expected arrival time in Seebenstein is 09:59 a.m. Trains back from Petersbaumgarten and Edlitz-Grimmenstein run every hour **Hike Options** We offer **two participation options**, depending on your preference and fitness level. Both groups will start together in Seebenstein and walk the same route up to Petersbaumgarten.
