¿Te gustaría eliminar de tu cabeza todo lo que te limita? ¿Te gustaría estar más alegre y atraer la abundancia a tu vida? “Todo en la vida viene a mí con facilidad, alegría y gloria”. Los pensamientos son una forma de energía que tienen carga eléctrica. Cuando pensamos mucho nuestro cerebro se sobrecarga, lo que hace que éste se encuentre en una frecuencia de ondas Beta. Este tipo de frecuencia nos bloquea, dificulta enormemente la relajación y eleva el nivel de estrés con los problemas que todo esto conlleva. Access Bars es una técnica de aplicación manual que consigue, mediante unos suaves toques en ciertos puntos específicos de la cabeza, que las ondas cerebrales cambien, pasando de ondas Beta (estado de vigilia) a ondas Theta o Delta (estados de relajación profunda). ¿Pero es sólo eso Access Bars? Access Bars es un proceso que activa 32 barras energéticas situadas en la cabeza. Cada una de estas barras contiene información sobre determinadas áreas de la vida (dinero, control, creatividad, poder, sexualidad, cuerpo, envejecimiento, alegría, tristeza, etc.). La información que dichas barras contienen son los puntos de vista que has ido creando y haciendo significativos a lo largo de tu existencia y que, de una forma u otra, te mantienen anclado y te impiden mejorar en algún aspecto de tu vida. Al ser estimuladas, las barras comienzan a descargarse y eliminar información (carga eléctrica). Se trata, literalmente, de formatear nuestro cerebro, como si de un disco duro se tratase. ¿Significa eso que perderás información valiosa para ti? ¿que olvidarás nombres, datos importantes o recuerdos vitales? PARA NADA. Access Bars no borra ese tipo de información, llamémosla objetiva, sino que, por ejemplo, hará desaparecer puntos de vista, percepciones como “los hombres son malos” o “hay que sufrir para conseguir lo que se quiere” seas consciente de ellas o no. Estas ideas asentadas en tu mente están limitando tu capacidad de recibir mucho más de esta vida. ¿Y qué se siente después de que esas barras sean activadas en una sesión de Access Bars? El primer síntoma suele ser una relajación profunda como casi nunca antes se ha experimentado. Muchas personas se duermen durante la sesión, otras entran en un estado de entresueño, en el que parecen dormidas pero están conscientes. En este estado de la mente, el inconsciente comienza a soltar y eliminar la basura acumulada durante años de forma suave y placentera. El segundo síntoma suele ser una sensación de paz y claridad mental, muy poco común para la mayoría de las personas. En los días siguientes a la sesión te envuelve un sentimiento de mayor seguridad y confianza en ti mismo, mayor creatividad, más soltura y alegría a la hora de relacionarte, y más placer y dinamismo en cuanto a lo físico se refiere. ¿Y a todo el mundo le pasa lo mismo? No, esto es lo que la mayoría describimos, en algunos casos la experiencia ha sido incluso mejor ¿Quieres saber qué más sucede tras una sesión? Los pensamientos limitantes y juicios que habitaban tu cabeza comienzan a desaparecer. Dejas de actuar en función del pasado o del miedo al futuro para vivir plenamente conectado con el presente. Lo que antes creías que era difícil o imposible sucede con menos o ningún esfuerzo de tu parte. Las posibilidades infinitas empiezan a mostrarse en tu vida y por primera vez en años vuelves a tener posibilidad de elección (real), no de elegir en base a tus pensamientos o sentimientos viejos y obsoletos que te limitaban, sino en base a tu conocimiento del momento presente. The topic for April is "Water" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast. Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect. The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience. Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor. Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 7:30 - 8:00, followed by dancing 8:00 - 10:30. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. We'll meet at The Capital One Café, 167 Easton Town Center, Space A-103. This is in the main mall where the Microsoft store used to be, on your left if you're standing at the bottom of the AMC Theater escalator. Join us on Saturday for an hour of uninterrupted wordmaking! • What we'll do Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at 10AM on Saturday mornings. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. SCHEDULE: 10:00 - SESSION 1: quick intros. 10:10 - timer starts: write for 1 hour. 11:10 - chat / take off / keep writing. OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens at 11A-11:30ish. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. BEING LATE IS OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check-in with me after the session.
