Join us for The Secret Meetup, a semi-monthly board game night at The Secret Lantern Books & Games in Cedar Park! It’s called The Secret Meetup, so you probably shouldn’t tell anyone 🤫 (…but you should absolutely tell people though).

We’re a safe, friendly, inclusive, and diverse group. New players are always welcome — we’re happy to teach games and help you find a table.

🕕 Games start at 6:00 pm and go until 10:00 pm.

📅 First meetup: Monday, March 9. This is a pilot, so potentially every other Monday after that!

📍The Secret Lantern Books and Games in Cedar Park. Housed in a former bank, this shop is now the very definition of “cozy.” Think comfy upholstered furniture, warm lighting, and tucked-away corners, perfect for settling into a long game. And yes — there’s a Vault Room, complete with massive steel door and spinning wheel handle, now reborn as one of the coolest places around to plot your next heist— err, move.

⏰ Good to know:
• You’re welcome to arrive earlier to hang out or play, but games will definitely start at 6:00 pm.
• The store opens at 10:00 am — if you want to make a whole game day of it, leave a comment!
• Coffee drinks and light food are available for purchase at the store — please support our host venue.

Join us for Monday morning coffee, crafting and conversation! Bring what ever portable project you are working on. If you are new to the craft there are usually folks to help you learn. There are a variety of coffee and tea items and a tiny selection of pastry items. Pineview Coffee Company is a small yet spacious coffee shop on the 1st floor inside the Aspen Lake Amenity building. There is only a small sign by the door that has the name of the coffee shop so it can be a little challenging to find. Hope to see you there! Our Weekly Game Gathering will be hosted at Kerbey Lane from 6 - 9pm. We can be found in the far back as you walk in. If you need help finding us, the staff know us by the name g3 Games or as the Game Gathering. Arriving late or leaving early is no problem. Private Group. Closed to the Public Knowing ourselves and understanding our abilities is the first step toward wielding our gifts with control and accuracy. In subsequent classes we will verify and hone our talents with activities and discussion. These are hands-on workshops and participation is expected. This is in the main mall where the Microsoft store used to be, on your left if you're standing at the bottom of the AMC Theater escalator. Join us on Saturday for an hour of uninterrupted wordmaking! • What we'll do Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at 10AM on Saturday mornings. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. SCHEDULE: 10:00 - SESSION 1: quick intros. 10:10 - timer starts: write for 1 hour. 11:10 - chat / take off / keep writing. OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens at 11A-11:30ish. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. BEING LATE IS OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check-in with me after the session. This trail is a meandering path through the woods. There will be some overlooks and a couple stops at the creek as well as time along a waterway. It will not be a fast paced hike. There is some elevation change and uneven terrain. I will be using poles just to be safe! Will aim to get in about three miles. Optional lunch after if there is an interest.
