A friendly get together for people who like to play boardgames. You are welcome to join. We can converse in English or German. You may bring your own games or we have quite an extensive cupboard full of games you are welcome to use. There are always people who will explain games, so no need to worry. Just come. Usually we meet at 18:30 and decide what we want to play. Usually we are able to fill 4-6 tables or more with different games. So you will certainly find something to your taste and likes. Please note that we would like to ask for a small donation of CHF 2. We need to pay rent for the room.

Open to Expats and Swiss folks who want to train and socialise with fellow ‘badmintonists’. Or perhaps you’d like to learn the sport and meet new people? Whether doing it for fun or fitness, the idea is to enjoy and have a great (kickass) midweek. And everyone is welcome to join us for a postgame drink or two! Korfball is a dynamic, no contact, mixed gender team sport. It pulls together aspects of netball, handball and basketball to form an unique and inclusive game. We will do some exercises, practice, play some games and have fun! :) Everyone is welcome to training, no experience required. Don't be misled by the low sign ups, our regulars don't use meet-up. We play every week regardless how many people signed up in Meetup. Saturday morning kick about. Aim to play on small pitches, 6v6, 7v7 or 8v8. If you have bibs or a football please bring it along. The field is artificial grass. Meet in Juchhof in any of the 3 pitches depending on availability. Please remove yourself from the RSVP list by 17:00 on Friday so any waitlist players have enough time to plan to play. If you RVSP and fail to attend you will be removed from the group.

**Thursday Night Football is back!** Our decade-long tradition of playing Thursday night games continues at **Turnhalle Lind Nord** in Winterthur! Open to all skill levels, newcomers, as well as regular players. The cost will be CHF 10 per game or there is the option to pay for the whole year. The attendance is limited to 12 players, if the meetup list is full then please join the waitlist as we regularly have people dropping out the day of the event. **Parking** There is no parking at Lind Nord, however there is paid parking at Museumplatz 3 or Kreuzstrasse 13, both of which are about 2 min walking distance **No-shows** We ask everyone to respect others who wish to play, and that means dropping out if you know that you won't play. You are responsible for keeping your RSVP up-to-date, not the organisers. Our no-show rules: * -No-shows will pay the regular fee for that game (even if they already paid for the season) plus the fees for those that were on the waitlist (so x times the regular fee). This way, the people in the waitlist will play a future game for free, as a small consolation present. * -No-shows might loose their place to those in the waitlist the next time they sign up when there is a waitlist * -No-show cutoff time is 2 hours before event start, to give others enough time to plan in advance. So even if you cancel after 18:30, if someone could not play because of you, you are still considered a no-show **IMPORTANT:** If its your first time please also send me a message for more details. If I do not hear from you to confirm this, you might be taken off the confirmed list to make room for regulars & prevent no-shows. Join us for a tour of Brothers Drake Meadery in Grandview, hosted by the owner Oron Benary. He will explain the mead-making process and offer us generous samples of their fine meads. Mead is basically wine that is made from honey instead of grapes. There are many different flavors that range from dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet, to sweet. They are best known for their Apple Pie Mead. Oron has offered us a special price of 5.00 each person for the tour and tasting, which is normally 25.00 per person. I've taken the tour several times, and it's always enlightening and fun. Rebecca will bring a tea that will pair well with the mead for a tea tasting afterwards. Park anywhere around the building. Please avoid parking in front of the houses in the neighborhood behind the Meadery. Please keep your RSVP current. Knowing how many will attend will help Brothers Drake plan accordingly to accommodate us.
