### Thank you Jean for letting me know about this event!This is the 15th Annual Johnna’s Tea Party! The best Tea Party in Simi Valley is coming back in high fashion. Come dressed in your fancy clothes and hats, eat some delicious tea party delights, be entertained, and of course, drink some tea! As you know, this event sells out quickly, so get your tickets soon!Johnna was a young woman who lost her battle with cancer on March 21, 2009. Through it all, she was lovingly supported by a women’s cancer support group that called themselves “Hany’s Hair Em.” This group of women chose this name because their beloved Dr. Hany Khalil was Egyptian and they all had an on-again, off-again, relationship with their hair due to chemotherapy.

### Johnna’s mom, Maryann Fiore Hopkins, created the High Tea Party in her memory. Its main purpose was to help provide assistance to the group that had provided so much support to her.

### In 2011, Dr. Hany Khalil formed the Marcelle Erian Cancer Foundation. To this day it provides counseling, medical supplies, family assistance, medications and personal support to cancer patients not covered by insurance plans.

### Johnna’s Tea Party has been a local community event since 2009. The funds it raises have supported the Marcelle Erian Cancer Foundation and will continue to support local charities and our community. Thank you for your participation and generosity. Rotary Club of Simi Sunset

CHARITY FUNDRAISER EVENT for the SAN FERNANDO VALLEY ALUMNAE CHAPTER OF GAMMA PHI BETA SORORITY
COST: $65 (tax, tip included)

CHARITY: GIRLS ON THE RUN: Girls on the Run, a national non-profit organization, designs programming that strengthens third- to eighth grade girls’ social, emotional, physical and behavioral skills to successfully navigate life experiences

We will be enjoying AFTERNOON TEA at the Chado Tea House in Pasadena in honor of my Sorority Alumni Group's annual fundraiser event. All proceeds of the event will go to our charity of choice.

We will have fun raffle prizes at this event. You may also make a separate donation to our sorority alumni group (We are a Non-profit group)

After tea at CHADO if anyone would like to go see
the movie "The Devil Wears Prada 2" at the El Capitan feel free to "self pay on line" for ticket in advance and/or just attend. I am in seat E101 at the Orchestra section. It was $21 for a "senior" ticket. It is good to get a ticket in advance so you have a reserved seat. The theater is right across the street from CHADO.

Parking is only free for a limited period of time so watch the time. Parking is right off of Highland. Give yourself plenty of time to find parking and walk to restaurant (elevator or escalator) CHADO WILL VALIDATE PARKING FOR DISCOUNT
