Meet other people near you! Come to our Meetup and mingle with fellow members for fun, and friendship.
We are folks in the Baltimore and nnapolis, generally in our 50s and 60s.
We encourage participation from people who are active and interested in good conversation, checking out new events and places in and around Baltimore and Annapolis.
First and foremost, we want you to feel comfortable with this social network. You never know who you will meet and who they might introduce to you! That's the wonderful anticipation of attending different events.
Suggestions for new events and any creative ideas are welcome! This group is for all, so the more you participate the more fun we will have !

Chgd Time - Balto County Dog Show at the Fairgrounds Cow Palace
Maryland State Fairgrounds - Timonium, Maryland, 2200 York Road, Timonium, MD, USFor all dog lovers.... let's enjoy breed, rally, and obedience competitions, lots of dog item vendors and even an outdoor dog diving contest (and it seems like the weather will cooperate)! The dog show is free, but fairgrounds parking will be $5. Family members (e.g. kids) and friends are welcome to join us--just add guest headcount when you sign up.
Now that all the doggie entries are in, the detailed Saturday schedule has been announced: https://pdf.infodog.com/jps/6097/jpg6097.pdf
Let's meet at the main entrance to the Cow Palace building. The day's dog show is actually from 8:30-5, so you are welcome to get there earlier or later than our meetup's start time; you only need to sign up if you want to meet up with the group at the meetup's start time so we can sniff out who has the same doggone interests and will want to hit the same locations as a smaller pack.
If you want to meet up with the group, please indicate IN THE EVENT COMMENTS what you hope to see or whether you really don't care that much and just want to have a general "dog show" experience.
I would NOT recommend bringing your dog(s)--this is a dog COMPETITION of purebreds that are not spayed/neutered, and some are pups. There will be vendors selling items that might appeal to dog owners, so take your pet measurements in advance and please leave your pet(s) at home.
Food truck/indoor fast food lines may be long, especially around lunchtime, so you may want to eat before coming and/or bring your own water/lunch/snacks.
If you've never been behind the scenes at a dog show before, try to watch the funny "mocumentary" movie "Best in Show" with Eugene Levy prior to the event.
