This is a great scramble/hike!

The hike: Please note that we are starting from the corner of Paseo del Mar and Avenida Mirola as noted by Josh in his description here: https://californiathroughmylens.com/shipwreck-hike-ranchos-palos-verdes. Please use the EXACT address of 2500 Paseo del Mar for GPS. Street parking is free and easily available. We will be hiking down a steep incline to the rocky shore, along the shore enjoying the views and playing on the rocks and in the tidepools, then up a steep pipe back to the street for the hike back to the car. It's awesome! Those with vertigo or difficulties with heights may wish to join the group from a different approach/exit. Please reach out to me personally when we're confirming and I'll provide those details. Please review the picture from one of our past hikes here - see the rocks in the background? That is what we are hiking on, so really important to have those hiking boots, not merely sneakers.

Unfortunately, doggies are not able to do this hike. Although permitted by the state, there is a lot of broken metal and sharp shells which are really not what your best friend ought to be walking on.

We should wrap up the hike portion of the meetup around 11:00 and then we can head over for some yummy food at Good Stuff.
