Hello, we're It's a Date - a London-based speed dating and singles events company. We’re professional icebreakers; reviving London’s dating scene with feel-good events, in awesome venues, with fun and charismatic hosts.
Personal experience and our single friends have taught us that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to finding love. It’s why we set to work redesigning dating events, creating opportunities for you to express yourself authentically and meet like-minded singles.

Escape the ordinary at our Saturday night singles party at The Folly. Enjoy a welcome drink, a cosmopolitan crowd, and a relaxed vibe perfect for meeting new people. Over 160 guests aged 30–45 will join us in a private area reserved exclusively for It’s a Date—ideal for mixing, mingling, and making real connections. Expect a fun, easy-going night with tons of new faces, great hosting, and good energy all evening.
Our host will be at the venue, ready to welcome you at 19:30. They’ll be easy to spot with a big smile, but if you’re unsure, just ask one of the friendly bar team. Your host will guide you to the area reserved exclusively for our event, offer you an optional name sticker, and direct you to where you can leave your jacket. Plus, guests who arrive before 20:00 will receive a complimentary drink – a great reason to show up on time! Once you’re settled in, your host will introduce you to other guests and make sure everyone gets a chance to meet as many people as possible.
Your hosts will be at the venue ready to welcome you at 19:30. They will be wearing a big smile and easy to spot, but if you’re uncertain just ask one of the friendly bar team.
Hosts will indicate the area reserved exclusively for our event, offer you an optional name sticker, and direct you to where to leave your jacket. A complimentary welcome drink is offered to guests arriving before 20:00 – no better reason to arrive in good time!
When comfortable, your hosts will introduce you to other guests and aid group mingling. Singles parties are more casual and informal in structure – a great opportunity to meet and network with other like-minded single people in a relaxed and fun environment. Our hosts will be there from start to finish to ensure you have the chance to meet everyone and make any special introductions at your request.
With around 160 guests at every party, there is heaps of opportunity to make new connections, enjoy a couple of drinks, and soak up the atmosphere.
After the evening concludes, you can access the event listing in your dashboard to enter feedback on those you have met and await your matches. A match is struck when two guests reciprocate identical feedback; indicating mutual intent to reconnect and enabling messaging via our online platform.

Your host will notify all guests at the end of each date, signalling for gents to move to the next table in ascending numerical order. During table rotations, you will have a moment to record on note cards your feelings towards the previous date and intention to reconnect, for your reference only.
Mid-way through the evening, your host will indicate a 15-minute comfort break to use the rest room, head to the bar, or socialise with new connections. Dating will then resume for the second half of the evening.
At the end of the speed dating the bar will remain open for more socialising. You can then access the event listing in your dashboard to enter feedback on dates and await your matches.
