By the end of the tutorial, you'll have a fully functional, personalized website where to showcase your projects and achievements.
Don't miss this chance to enhance your skills and be part of a supportive community of women in technology!
----------------------------------Hands-on Session Setup-----------------------------
- Please have the latest version of RStudio installed or sign up for Posit Cloud (https://posit.cloud/plans). If you are using another tool, please ensure Quarto CLI is installed on your computer (https://quarto.org/docs/get-started/).
- Throughout the tutorial, we will be referencing the Quarto guide for RStudio (https://quarto.org/docs/get-started/hello/rstudio.html) as well as W3Schools CSS tutorials (https://www.w3schools.com/css/default.asp).
- The tutorial will also go over how to use Git and GitHub for version control, but this is optional.
- You can set up version control with GitHub at a later point. That said, if you wish to follow along with the tutorial, we suggest you to create a GitHub account and connect it to RStudio (https://happygitwithr.com/rstudio-git-github) before the meetup.
- Lastly, we will be using Quarto Pub (https://quartopub.com/) to publish the website. Again, if you wish to follow along during the tutorial, please create a an account ahead of time. The Quarto website also has information about publishing with other platforms (https://quarto.org/docs/publishing/).
