📢 A Deep Dive into Smart Dato’s Laravel Architecture
In this presentation, I will outline Smart Dato’s approach to building a robust backend in Laravel, with a particular focus on our API design and functionality. I will describe how our team at Smart Dato organizes and structures the Laravel project to ensure consistent coding standards, clarity, and easy maintenance. This includes discussing our folder structure, naming conventions, and integration of testing strategies that reinforce reliability. I will also share specific examples of problems we aim to solve through careful API design, such as improving data handling, reducing latency, and simplifying third-party integrations. Finally, I will address some of the challenges we face ranging from handling large data sets to managing versioning and upgrades—and how we mitigate these issues through performance optimization, caching strategies, and robust testing. By the end of this talk, you will gain insight into Smart Dato’s backend philosophy, the importance of a well-structured API, and the practical methods we use to deliver reliable, high-performance web services.

📢 Inside Design Systems: From Vision to Implementation
In this talk, I’ll share our team’s experience in developing design systems. After a brief overview of what a design system is and its benefits, we’ll explore the key aspects we’ve learned about creating components and how to organize them. I’ll discuss the tools and libraries that have proven useful, along with the lessons learned and challenges we’ve faced along the way. We’ll also touch on the non-technical elements that are crucial for building a successful system. As our journey continues, I’ll highlight the areas where we aim to improve and evolve further.
