Join me for a photo walk through Prater :) We will gather shortly before sunset (sunset time is 19.35) at the front gates of the amusement park. After a short introduction we will go for a photowalk among the rides. At the end of the walk everyone is welcome to join for a warm drink at a nearby cafe. The event is free of charge but will be limited to max 6 people as it is meant as an opportunity to connect, and the park is the perfect location for losing parts of a group. **ACHTUNG! Wir treffen uns dieses Mal auf Grund von Bauarbeiten bei der U4 Station Friedensbrücke Ausgang Straßenbahn 5 und 12!!!** **Walk & Talk** Willst du auch mehr Bewegung in dein Leben bringen? Und dich dabei noch gut unterhalten, so dass die Zeit verfliegt? Dann bist du hier genau richtig, denn mir geht es genauso. Alleine ist langweilig und die Zeit vergeht nicht, daher hab ich mir Walk & Talk überlegt. Inspiriert wurde ich durch die Walk & Talk Gruppe in Hamburg, wo ich mehrere Male dabei war als ich in Hamburg lebte. Unterschiedliche Menschen treffen sich einmal in der Woche für einen flotten Spaziergang und unterhalten sich dabei. Ich liebe es neue Menschen kennenzulernen und auch bekannte Gesichter wiederzusehen, dann geh ich ganz nebenbei und das macht auch noch Spaß.😊 **Walk:** Wir brauchen einfach regelmäßige Bewegung und ich weiß selbst, wie schwierig es ist, diese in den Alltag zu integrieren. Deshalb ist dieser Walk genau richtig. Nach diesem Spaziergang fühlst du dich einfach wohl, fit und entspannt. **Talk:** Das Reden kommt ganz von selbst beim Gehen. Du kannst über alles reden, egal, ob privates oder berufliches, alles was sich ergibt ist willkommen. Und wenn du keinen Bock aufs Reden hast, dann gehst du alleine, auch das ist völlig in Ordnung. **Wie das ganze abläuft:** * Die Teilnahme ist völlig kostenlos. * Wo: U6 Spittelau (im Freien), Richtung Donaukanal, Ausgang Josef-Holaubek-Platz, direkt vor dem Fernwärme-Turm (https://maps.app.goo.gl/XwAayz4FQe2EW8WK9) * Wann: Wir treffen uns dienstags um 13 Uhr, egal, ob bei Regen, Sturm und Kälte oder bestem Sonnenschein – Walk & Talk findet nahezu JEDE Woche statt außer ich bin mal im Urlaub. * Wir starten pünktlich und beginnen mit einer kurzen Vorstellungsrunde. * Wie gehen am Donaukanal entlang von Höhe Spittelau bis zum Schwedenplatz und zurück. * Ca. 7 Kilometer sind wir unterwegs und unterhalten uns dabei mit interessanten Menschen. Dabei kannst du neue Bekanntschaften schließen, dich inspirieren lassen, von Projekten erzählen oder einfach nur smalltalken und die frische Luft genießen. Alles ist erlaubt. * Nach ca. 1,75 Stunden sind wir wieder am Ausgangspunkt zurück. * Bei einer Teilnahme von über 5 Personen gehen wir in Paaren und wechseln diese alle 10 Min. Oder Eclipse RCP. Oder Oracle Forms. Das Management will sie „im Browser". Der Reflex: React-Frontend, REST-APIs, JavaScript-Entwickler einstellen, zwei Stacks pflegen. Aber muss das sein? Es gibt inzwischen mehrere Java-native Ansätze für Web-UIs — ihr kennt vermutlich einige davon aus früheren Meetups. Die meisten setzen voraus, dass ihr eure UI von Grund auf neu schreibt und bestehenden Code hinter REST-APIs kapselt. Join us for our regular Tuesday evening playing Padel. **How we play** Intermediate and Advanced Players are welcome (no beginners on Tuesday, please join us on Friday or Sunday instead). Number of courts depends on the number of players * 4-7 players: one court * 8-11 players: two courts * 12-15 players: three courts Ideally, 6, 10 or 14 players are attending * Then you play two matches in a row and then take a break * A match is played in a single set. First team reaching four games wins the match. We play a minimum of six games per set (means even after 4:0 you still play two more games in this set) If an odd number of players are attending, we adapt to the situation Teams are mixed all the time. So you will play with/against different players during the event * Teams are put together based on their skill level * We focus on having balanced teams **Price** * 10 € for 1h * 17 € for 2h * If you need a racket, you can rent it from us for 2 € (limited number available). Otherwise you can always rent from the venue for 5 € * We use the money to cover the courts rent, base-subscription for renting, providing balls and rackets **Cancellation** * Please cancel at least 4h before the event. While the development phase runs globally, we are hosting a **local in-person event in Vienna** on April 11 to bring the community together for hacking, collaboration, and networking. **The Data-Driven Brand: Using Analytics to Shape Perception** Can you use analytics to improve tacos? This being CBUSDAW, we think the answer is probably “yes”, but we’re not sure how to implement or test this theory. For our April meetup we’ve got Sara Kear, CMO of Condado Tacos, to investigate this delicious question. Sara will explore how she blends quantitative data and qualitative customer feedback to shape brand positioning and drive business decisions. We all know that marketing and analytics go way beyond attribution. Sara will show how Condado uses customer insights to inform product and pricing strategy. She’ll also highlight how Condado leverages customer feedback at scale to influence operational priorities, positioning marketing as the voice of the customer across the organization. In the last 12 years Condado has gone from one location in Columbus to 52 locations across 10 states, so we’re guessing there’s more to that growth than really good guac (though the guac probably helps). Ultimately, this talk focuses on the intersection of art and science—using data to inform creativity and build a brand that resonates with customers in a measurable way. **About Our Speaker** Sara Kear is Chief Marketing Officer at Condado Tacos, where she oversees brand, restaurant design, menu and pricing strategy, off-premise including catering, and customer data strategy. Since joining in 2021, she has helped grow the brand from 19 to 52 locations while building a data-driven marketing organization focused on loyalty and customer insights.
