HOW IT WORKS: Once you sign up, you'll be given a link to join a party of other people via video on Zoom. All you need is a laptop, phone or tablet to take part in the event. You'll enjoy an evening of meeting new people, fun social interactions and games. Our friendly host will be with you live via video orchestrating the event and even making introductions among the group so you'll get to know the other people attending. It's so much fun! You'll be playing fun games like.... * Solving really cool riddles and answering trivia type questions and other questions that are similar to your favorite TV game shows! * Playing fun games like Taboo, Catchphrase and "Blank Slate" (In Blank Slate, the host will show you a word followed by a blank. For example: Chicken _________. You'll write down a word that follows the word Chicken such as "Soup". Essentially you're trying to predict what will be a popular answer. We do different fun games at each event we throw! WIN AMAZON GIFT CARDS! The winners of the event will get to spin our prize wheel to win prizes which include Amazon gift cards! FAQ: If I have friends or family members that don't live with me, can they be put on a team with me? Yes! We'd say about 75% of participants sign up on their own but if you have any friends or family members that want to join, they can too (simply message the host at the beginning of the event and ask to be placed on the same team as them). Each player needs to buy their own ticket. If you have a family member/s that is same household as you, they are welcome to sit next to you and you can play along with you but each device needs to purchase their own ticket. Yes, In fact we never use repeat questions and we always change up the games so feel free to sign up with as many of our upcoming events as you'd like! How do I join the event? After you sign up on to Eventbrite we will send you a link with an invitation to join the event. We'll send you that link by the day of the event. Welcome to the new virtual format of the Catan meet up. We use Catan Universe to play online. Log on to CatanUniverse.com and be ready to share your username with the group. If you have reached level 3 within Catan Universe, please join the Guild most of us are in called Settlers of Gotham. The most popular platform to play CU is through Steam, although some play via their web browser. At the time of the meetup, first connect to the Zoom link provided to meet everyone. We will share our screen names on Catan Universe and start a game via Catan Universe. We will go to breakout rooms, if we have more than one game going. It is ok to join at any time. We will do our best to accommodate everyone. If you haven't set up an account with Catan Universe, please try to do it before the meet up time as it suggests a tutorial. We recommend completing the tutorial to get gold, suns, scrolls (this will make more sense when you've been on the site a while). I'm excited to see everyone soon! We play Settlers the second Saturday and the third Sunday of every month . We play a mix of traditional (3-4 player) or expansion (5-6 player) Settlers as well as Knights & Cities and/or Seafarers. Firstly we play all week and not only on Friday nights, so come and take a look and say hi in the Discord 😊 Random members of the group gather in discord and play games on Friday night! Depending on my schedule I may or may not be able to join! But many members are there so feel free to drop by and put something together! It says from 8-10pm but we often go on till 11 or 12. Most of the games are completely free and can be joined via browser or a link! Come and join, everyone is super friendly and willing to help newbies. We play all kinds of games such as Among us, Board games, Jackbox Party Pack, Codenames and lots more. We also play many PC games on steam in the discord during the week. Such as Rocket League, Valorant, Elder Scrolls Online, WoW, Fall Guys, Overcooked 2, Rainbow Six Siege etc.. We usually get between 10-20 people join directly via the Discord so don't worry if not many have joined from this page, many people always join on Friday night :) The event is completely free to join ;) See you there! This is the weekly meeting of the Dallas Scrabble Club, now occurring online at https://woogles.io/club/dallasbedford due to COVID-19 restrictions. Woogles.io is a new web site for players everywhere. We have had great response to playing online at a previous site and have had as many as 16 players show up each week. It makes for a fun diversion for all of us. We play 4 official games on Thursdays. After those 4 games, players are free to play whoever they want on this game site. Each week you plan to attend, I will need to know by 6 pm on Thursday that you are definitely coming, and that you will be onsite by 7 pm that night. That way, I can pair people up in advance to play four games without too much delay in getting set up. If you prefer to play FEWER than four games, please include that info in your response. Please do set up an account on the Woogles site prior to joining the club meetings on Thursday nights and send your player name for Woogles to me so I can set up the games for each expected player. If you would like a practice game on the site, let me know.

Welcome to Casual Boardgames, where we enjoy classic tabletop games and social deduction games while bonding over good food, drinks, and great conversations. 
We started this group to meet new people and make new friends, and bonding over games in a relaxed atmosphere is a great way to do that. We currently meet near route 23 and Polaris Parkway, and this is close to areas like Powell, Lewis Center, Worthington, and parts of Westerville and Columbus. 
Feel free to bring your own games or play one of the many games our members bring. If you are inexperienced, we will help you learn. 
Here are just a few examples of the kind of games we play. 
Tabletop/board games: Splendor, Catan, Azul, Dominion, 7 Wonders… 
Social deduction games: Code Names, Chameleon, Werewords… 
IMPORTANT: 
1. While we love playing a variety of games and competing, we are not just about the games. We interact and talk while playing, and this leads to a lot of laughter and fun. If you just want to compete and focus solely on the game, then this is probably not the group you are looking for. 
2. Many people join groups like this and never (or rarely) show up after weeks or months. If you join and never really come, we will eventually remove you from the group as a courtesy to our members. Why? Because limiting group conversations (on the app) to regular members makes communication and planning much easier. Also, while it may be rare, it protects members from people who join because they are interested in following a person instead of having a real interest in our group. If you get removed, it is just because you haven’t come, and we follow this protocol as a courtesy to our regular game players.

This is a time where players of all ages, and skill levels can gather and enjoy a nice Sunday full of Chess!

The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~20 per person. Soft drink refills are 1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing a fun and welcoming space to veteran, newbie, and rookie gamers in the Columbus area. Parking can sometimes fill esrly. There is additional parking lot behind the neighboring Mexican restaurant that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.
