**Real‑time & Batch on Fabric**
This session presents the end state of a mixed real‑time and batch analytics platform on **Microsoft Fabric**.
Live event streams are handled using KQL/Eventhouse, enabling low‑latency dashboards and operational insights with minimal processing overhead. In parallel, near real‑time and batch data is processed using governed, lightweight Fabric patterns designed for efficiency and scale.
The outcome is a single, capacity‑aware Fabric platform where real‑time and analytical workloads coexist cleanly, with Power BI as the unified consumption layer.
**About The Speaker**
Arjun Shankar has over a decade of experience turning data challenges into scalable, cloud-first platforms that drive real business decisions. He has worked across banking, finance, transport, insurance, and energy, specialising in the Azure stack: Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, PySpark, and Fabric.

The Blockchain Backdoor: How Attackers Subverted the WordPress Supply Chain
**The Blockchain Backdoor: How Attackers Used ENS to Subvert the WordPress Supply Chain** - **Aadam Shaik and Rohit Hande**
What happens when the "Kill Switch" is decentralized? In early 2026, a sophisticated threat actor acquired a portfolio of over 30 WordPress plugins, including the popular "Accordion and Accordion Slider," to execute a massive supply chain attack. While the initial vector was a traditional acquisition-turned-backdoor, the true innovation lay in the Command & Control (C2) infrastructure. This talk deconstructs how attackers utilized the Ethereum Name Service (ENS) to create unblockable, dynamic C2 resolution. By querying public Ethereum RPC endpoints directly from server-side PHP, the malware bypassed traditional DNS-based security perimeters and neutralized standard domain takedown strategies.

📍 **The Oxford Scholar**

Play 3-Sided Soccer at Albert Park - mixed - social - all levels - all fitness
3 Teams. 3 Goals. Hexagonal Pitch. A game of alliance and betrayal in equal measure.
We are looking for new players and returning players alike to come play a match. Players of any ability, fitness level or background are welcomed - the game is intended to be fun for a Sunday morning rather than super competitive.
If you've never played before, that's okay - the rules are as simple as this:
* There's no offside - roam where you will
* Defend your goal at all costs
* No hands (this is soccer-style football after all)
Come down for 9:00am, we make some balanced teams and warm up for the match starting at 9:15.
Three thirds are played of 25 minutes each so we're usually done by about 11:00am. All fitness and soccer skill levels more than welcome and encouraged!
A note regarding junior players:
We very much enjoy and encourage junior players to come along and play however please be aware of the following:
* As most attendees are adults, all players must be a minimum of 1.5m tall and 13 years of age. Soccer may have incidental contact when contesting a ball, and we would hate for someone small to be injured as a result of running into someone larger than them.
* Any players under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a playing parent or guardian.
How to find us -
We meet on the astroturf pitch near the Baselball and Hockey clubs in Albert Park. The main location we use is called "Dorothy Coleman Field". If we aren't there then there may be a couple of other locations, [as noted on this dynamic map](https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1JdDwV4AOV5e-xP5d56m16-eu29GlnZQ&usp=sharing) \- generally we will follow in number order\.

How to Get Off-Market Deals With Direct-to-Seller Marketing
**How to Get Off-Market Deals With Direct-to-Seller Marketing**
Want to learn how to get off-market deals through direct-to-seller marketing without relying on agents, wholesalers, or the MLS for consistent deal flow?
That is exactly what we are covering at this next Columbus Investors Club Meetup.
Get Your Free Ticket **[HERE](https://www.eventbrite.com/e/how-to-get-off-market-deals-with-direct-to-seller-marketing-tickets-1987845260686?aff=cicmeetupapp)**[ ](https://www.eventbrite.com/e/how-to-get-off-market-deals-with-direct-to-seller-marketing-tickets-1987845260686?aff=cicmeetupapp)🎟️
Most investors who try to do off-market deals make the same mistake: they throw money into a marketing channel, pray that it works, and hope a deal comes out the other side. There is no real strategy, no clear math, no tracking, and no process to know what is actually working.
At this meetup, we are going to break down how to reverse engineer direct-to-seller marketing using our SCALE framework so you can approach your marketing with more clarity, confidence, and consistency.
We will cover how to think through inbound, outbound, and free marketing channels, how to choose the right channel for your goals, how to run the numbers before you spend, how to allocate the right budget, how to launch the campaign correctly, and how to evaluate and track performance so you can make better decisions moving forward.
**SCALE Framework:**
**S –** Select the right channel
**C –** Calculate the numbers
**A –** Allocate the budget
**L –** Launch the campaign
**E –** Evaluate and track it
**What We’ll Cover**
* How to get off-market deals through direct-to-seller marketing
* How to stop guessing and start reverse engineering your marketing
* The difference between inbound, outbound, and free marketing channels
* How to choose the right channel for your business and market
* How to calculate the numbers before launching
* How to allocate a budget based on goals, not emotion
* How to launch and track a campaign the right way
* How to create more consistent and predictable deal flow
**Date:** May 28, 2026 (Thursday)

Why Real Estate Investors Should Become Licensed Agents (And When Not To)
REGISTER HERE: [SIGN UP TODAY](https://link.elitereimm.com/widget/form/mUCJcb9LFDGoPqRg82jP?am_id=debbie4540)
Should a real estate investor get a real estate license? Sometimes it’s a massive advantage… and sometimes it can complicate your business if you don’t know what you’re walking into.
In this training, we’ll cut through the “agents vs investors” drama and focus on one thing: **what makes you more money and gives you more leverage**.
You’ll learn:
* **When being licensed helps investors win** (better access, better data, better terms, better deal flow)
* How investors use a license to **create extra profit centers** (commissions, referrals, listings, buyer rep, property management pathways)
* The truth about **MLS access, pocket listings, and being first to the good deals**
* How licensing impacts **wholesaling, double-closing, assignments, and disclosures**
* What brokerages don’t tell you: **fees, splits, compliance, and time requirements**
* When it’s smarter to **partner with an agent** instead of becoming one
* A simple decision framework: **licensed vs partnered vs hybrid model**
You’ll walk out knowing whether licensing fits your goals—and if it does, the cleanest path to do it without slowing down your investing.

Central Ohio Chapter Meeting
IN PERSON IN COLUMBUS
How I Get Private Lenders and Partners to Fund My Deals
If you can’t fund it, you don’t have a deal.
And right now, funding is where more investors are getting stuck.
Private lenders are more cautious.
Partners are asking better questions.
And deals that look good on paper still fall apart when the money doesn’t show up.
That’s why we’re bringing in a panel of investors who are actually getting their deals funded right now.
You’ll hear how they’re finding money, structuring deals, and building relationships that lead to repeat funding.
Here’s what you’ll learn:
* Where they’re finding private lenders today
* How they start conversations that lead to funding
* What makes lenders and partners say YES
* How they structure deals to be fundable
* The biggest mistakes investors make when raising money
* How to build repeat funding relationships
**Early Session (6:00–7:00 PM Eastern):**
**Having Trouble Finding Tenants? How Community Shelter Board Can Help**

This is where connections turn into action.
