Before or After? The Basics of Italian Adjective Order

In this guided online session, we’ll work through Episodes 14 & 15 of the podcast Impariamo l’italiano piano piano, focusing on one of the most confusing and important topics for learners of Italian: where adjectives go.
Together, we’ll look at:

• When Italian adjectives normally come after the noun
• When they come before the noun
• Why phrases like una donna anziana, un’altra persona, and un lungo cappotto scuro follow different patterns
• How adjective placement affects rhythm, clarity, and meaning

The session is structured but relaxed. I’ll guide you through key examples from the episode, pause for questions, and help connect the grammar to the story and to real Italian usage.
