Hi everyone! Welcome to our unique international cooking community! After our culinary trip to Egypt, we are officially heading further south into the African continent. Our next destination is… South Africa! 🇿🇦
For this event, we are inviting a South African friend who recently joined our circle. Together, we’ll challenge ourselves to cook authentic South African dishes that you can rarely find in Japan!
No cooking experience? No problem at all! We will all work together, so just bring your energy and curiosity.
To make the night even better, we will turn the venue into a local South African pub! We'll project a thrilling rugby match on a big screen to recreate that 100% authentic, high-energy sports pub atmosphere! 🍻✨
Let’s enjoy amazing food, great drinks, and the vibrant culture of South Africa together!
### 🇿🇦 Menu: What We Are Cooking 🇿🇦
1. Bunny Chow A famous street food from Durban! It’s a hollowed-out loaf of white bread filled with a rich, aromatic, and spicy curry. It looks impressive and tastes even better!
2. Chakalaka & Pap A staple combination in South African cuisine. "Pap" is a traditional porridge made from maize meal, served with "Chakalaka," a spicy and savory vegetable relish. It's an absolute must-have at any South African barbecue (Braai)!

📅 Date: August 11th (Tue / National Holiday) 🕒 Time: 15:00 - 19:00 📍 Location: A rental kitchen in Yotsuya (The exact address will be sent to confirmed attendees)
### 【Participation Fee】
- Men: ¥4,000
- Women: ¥3,500
- Students: ¥2,500 (Please show your student ID) (Includes ingredients, kitchen rental, and soft drinks)
### 【Timeline】
- 15:00~ Registration (Brief introductions)
- 15:15~ Let's cook! South African cooking session
- 17:30~ Dinner & Rugby Pub Time! (Enjoying the food with the match on the projector)
- 18:30~ Clean up
- 19:00 End of the event
### 【What to bring】
- An apron (if you have one)
- Your favorite drinks (BYOB! Alcoholic beverages are more than welcome!)

- Since we need to purchase the ingredients in advance, please let us know at least 3 days prior if you need to cancel.
- Any solicitation for networking businesses, religious groups, or other sales pitches is strictly prohibited.
