FREE Beginner East Coast Swing Lesson at 6:15 PM with your paid admission. No partner or experience necessary. Very newcomer friendly. Learn some cool moves at the lesson.
EVENING SCHEDULE:
6:15 PM Beginner Swing Lesson (no partner necessary)
7 PM - 10 PM Swing Dancing
FIRST SET: 7:05 - 8:30 PM. East Coast Swing, Lindy, Balboa.
SECOND SET: 8:30 - 10 PM. West Coast Swing. A few Hustle, Night Club Two Steps added.
ADMISSION: $12 Individual, $7 Students (14-22 yrs.), Carolina Dance Club (CDC) members $9. Includes Beginner Swing Lesson and social dancing. No partner necessary, very newcomer friendly. Take a $1.00 off admission when you pay by cash/check.

GROUP DISCOUNTS: Have a group of 10 or more people you want to bring to the dance? Get a group discount. Great as a birthday, anniversary or night out idea.
FIRST TIME DANCERS: What 1st time attendees can look forward to – Meeting and mixing with friendly, supportive dancers from 16 – 70 years of age in a comfortable and casual environment. We provide Beginner Lessons before the social dancing to help you get your dancing foot on and meet some pretty friendly dancers, which makes this singles friendly and many singles attend. We have beginners and experienced dancers dancing side-by-side on the dance floor every Sunday.
LOCATION: Raleigh Elks Lodge ballroom has a spacious wood dance floor with great air conditioning (important in the hot summer months), comfortable table seating around the dance floor and it is a smoke free event. Cash bar serves soda, water, beer, wine, mix drinks, all at a reasonable price. Ample parking is available.
