A sinkink tip line is suggested with a 4 foot flurorocarbon tipet. This is so the fly stays on the bottom where the bass are. A picture of weighted flies that Living Waters suggested has been added.

I got a folding wading staff since there's lots of uneven bottom at Colorado Bend. It was $100 on Amazon. I'm glad to have sturdy wading shoes also. We are going to have fun!
