Mochi pounding is one of Japan's end-of-year events!
Mochi pounding is held at this time of year in preparation for the New Year.
Why not join us and go out and make some mochi?
We'll also visit what I think is the world's most delicious food shop, a delicious bakery, a 5-minute hike overlooking Kyoto, and an ancient shrine!
Please bring chopsticks and bowls with you. You can also buy them at convenience stores.

Honpoji Temple...A beautiful temple built in the 15th century
Omotesenke/Urasenke Area...Around the tea ceremony head school. The scenery is so beautiful.
Suika Tenmangu Shrine...A small shrine built in the 10th century
Mochitsuki Site...Participate in local mochi-making
Tom Sawyer...A reasonably priced bakery with delicious food
Funaokayama...A hill offering panoramic views of Kyoto in just five minutes. The guardian deity who set the standard for the design of this ancient capital. Oda Nobunaga is also enshrined here.
Imamiya Shrine...An 8th-century shrine built to quell epidemics
Kazariya...The world's most delicious food"aburi mochi" (seared rice cakes) (in my opinion)

お正月に備えて、この時期、餅つきが行われます。
みんなで餅つきに出かけませんか？
世界一おいしいお店（私の考えです）や美味しいパン屋、５分の登山で京都を一望する丘、古来の神社へも行きましょう！
お箸とお椀をご持参ください。コンビニで買うこともできます。

本法寺…15世紀建立の美しい寺院
表千家・裏千家エリア…茶道の家元周辺。とても景色が美しい
水火天満宮…10世紀建立の小さな神社
餅つき会場…地域の餅つきに参加
トム・ソーヤー…高くないのにとても美味しいパン屋
船岡山…５分で京都を一望する丘。この古都設計の基準となった守護神。織田信長も祀られている
今宮神社…8世紀建立の疫病を鎮める神社
かざりや…世界一おいしい「あぶり餅」（私の主観による）
