アート好きの皆さん、こんにちは！

今回は、今週開幕する「アンドリュー・ワイエス展」を観に、あべのハルカス美術館へ行きます！

アンドリュー・ワイエスは、20世紀アメリカを代表する写実主義の画家の一人で、アメリカの田園風景や自然、人々を静かで抑制の効いた表現で描いたことで知られています。今回の展覧会では、幅広い作品を通してワイエスの画業をたどりながら、独特のリアリズム、抑えた色彩、そして日常の題材を鋭く見つめる観察眼を紹介します。

14:00に、あべのハルカス16階の「あべのハルカス美術館」入口前に集合します。1〜2時間ほど展覧会を楽しんだあと、希望者で近くのカフェに移動して、作品や展覧会について感想を交換しましょう。

This time we head to the Abeno Harukas Art Museum to see the Andrew Wyeth exhibition opening this week!

Andrew Wyeth was one of the most prominent 20th-century American realist painters, known for quiet, austere depictions of American rural life, landscapes, and people. The exhibition surveys Wyeth’s career through a broad selection of works, highlighting his distinctive realism, restrained palette, and intense observation of everyday subjects.

We'll meet at 14:00 right at the Abeno Harukas Art Museum (16th floor of the Abeno Harukas tower) and enjoy the exhibition for 1-2 hours. Afterwards for those interested we will sit down at a nearby cafe to exchange impressions on the exhibition.

Entrance fee: 2,200 yen at the door. Discounted tickets available (see website).
