Kansai Arts Meetup is a group to enjoy cultural events such as art exhibitions, concerts, theatre performances, movies etc. We go out in a small group, usually 3 to 10 people. After an event, we have a coffee or wine at a nearby cafe. Join us and let's go out together!!

今回は神戸ゆかりの美術館で開催中の「ゴジラ・THE・アート展」を見に行きます！
ゴジラ生誕70周年を記念したこの展覧会では、絵画・彫刻・写真・パフォーマンスなど、さまざまなジャンルのアーティストが「ゴジラとは何か？」というテーマに挑んでいます。当日は9:45に神戸ゆかりの美術館の正面入口前で集合し、午前中はみんなで展覧会を楽しみます。その後、お時間のある方は近くでランチをご一緒しましょう！

Today we'll be heading to the Kobe Artists Museum to visit the Godzilla Art Exhibition!
Celebrating the 70th anniversary of Godzilla, this exhibition invites artists from a wide range of disciplines (painting, sculpture, photography, performance) to answer the question:
"What is Godzilla?"We'll meet at 9:45 AM in front of the Kobe Artists Museum and spend the morning exploring the exhibition together. Afterwards, anyone who's interested is welcome to join for lunch nearby.

Today we'll be heading to the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art to visit the Ghost in the Shell exhibition!
Ghost in the Shell is one of Japan’s most influential science-fiction franchises, exploring artificial intelligence, cybernetics, identity, and the increasingly blurred boundary between humans and machines. The exhibition traces the series from Masamune Shirow’s original manga through its numerous anime adaptations, presenting original artwork, storyboards, production materials, concept designs, sculptures, and immersive digital displays. Visitors can also purchase a special ticket for Cybernetic VISION, an AR experience in which they wear augmented-reality glasses and explore the exhibition alongside a Tachikoma.
We'll meet at 2:00 PM in front of the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art (be careful, Kobe has several museums with similar names, don't head to the wrong one!) and spend about 2h exploring the exhibition together. Afterwards, anyone who's interested is welcome to join for coffee/tea nearby.

今回は、兵庫県立美術館で開催される「攻殻機動隊展」を見に行きます！
『攻殻機動隊』は、日本を代表するSF作品のひとつです。人工知能、サイバネティクス、自己とは何か、そして人間と機械の境界が曖昧になっていく未来をテーマに描いています。
今回の展覧会では、士郎正宗による原作漫画から、これまで制作されてきた数々のアニメ作品まで、『攻殻機動隊』シリーズの歴史をたどります。原画、絵コンテ、制作資料、コンセプトデザイン、立体作品、没入型のデジタル展示など、さまざまな展示を楽しめます。
また、特別チケットを購入すると、ARグラスを装着し、タチコマと一緒に会場を巡るAR体験「Cybernetic VISION」にも参加できます。当日は14:00に兵庫県立美術館の正面入口前で集合し、2時間ほど一緒に展覧会を見て回る予定です。
※神戸には似た名前の美術館・博物館がいくつかあります。集合場所を間違えないよう、十分ご注意ください！
展覧会の後は、お時間のある方で近くのカフェに行き、コーヒーやお茶を楽しみましょう。入場料：一般 2,700円
