This is a geography quiz social event where you can have international exchange!
The geography quiz is a quick-push style, with 60 questions on Kansai geography and 60 questions on world geography.
It may be difficult to imagine a "geography quiz," so to make it easy for you to try it out, there is no fee to participate!
Of course, you can also just come and observe.

4:30 - 5:45 p.m. Explanation of the quiz & World Geography Quiz
5:45 - 6:00 p.m. Break & time to chat
6:00 - 6:45 p.m. Kansai Geography Quiz
6:45 - 7:00 p.m Time for chatting (international exchange!)
→After the meeting, there will be a talk show called "Top 10 Tourist Destinations for Overseas Travel". If you wish, you can attend that as well.
※The time is a rough estimate.

Points
The quiz questions will be read out in Japanese only, but the quiz explanation, quiz questions and answers will all be on slides with English subtitles. English only is OK too!
Compared to an international exchange meeting where you just chat, the quiz will be a serious competition, which will make international exchange even smoother!
We will serve drinks (tea, coffee) at the beginning and some snacks.
The event is free of charge, but there are no shady offers or additional fees.
The intention is to get as many people as possible to come to the first meeting so that the next meeting will be more exciting.
We will take photos for publicity purposes, but you don't have to be in them.

About the geography quiz
If you are not good at geography, it doesn't matter. Please join us.
Why geography? It's because geography is the easiest for anyone to answer, compared to other fields.
There is no difference between professionals and amateurs.
For example, if the subject is "history" or "anime", one person can often answer most of the questions.
The quiz is popular on cruise ships, so people who participated in the quiz on cruise ships are also expected to participate.

My background
I have been hosting geography quizzes on cruise ships for about 20 years.

Who can participate?
The event is open to anyone regardless of age, gender, or nationality.
However, those who are soliciting for religion or pyramid schemes are not allowed to participate.

There is a bicycle parking lot, so you can come by bicycle.There is a parking lot, but it is small. (18 cars)
There is also a library on the first floor, so you can come early and kill some time.

If we don't have enough people booked, we will cancel the event a few days in advance and go to work. To avoid this, please book early.

国際交流の出来る地理クイズ交流会です！
地理クイズの内容は早押しスタイルで、関西地理クイズが６０問、世界地理クイズが６０問です。
「地理クイズ」と聞いてもイメージしにくいと思いますので、気軽にお試しで参加出来るように、「参加費無料」です！勿論、見学のみでもＯＫです。

１６時３０分～１７時３０分　クイズの説明＆世界地理クイズ
１７時３０分～４５分　休憩＆ご歓談タイム
１７時４５分～１８時３０分　関西地理クイズ
１８時３０分～１９時頃　ご歓談タイム（国際交流！）
→解散…ですが、その後「海外旅行お勧め観光地ベスト１０」というイベントをやります。希望者は参加可能です。
※時間は大体の目安です。

【ポイント】
クイズの問題の読み上げは日本語のみですが、クイズの説明とクイズの問題、回答は全てスライドを使い、英語字幕が付いているので、日本語が苦手な方でも問題ありません。英語だけもＯＫ！
歓談するだけの国際交流会に比べて、クイズで真剣勝負をしますので、一層国際交流がスムーズになります！
最初にドリンク（お茶、コーヒー）と、少しお菓子も出します。
無料で参加出来ますが、怪しい勧誘、追加料金などはありません。
沢山の人に来てもらって次回以降を盛り上げたいという意図です。
尚、宣伝用の写真を撮りますが、写らなくてもＯＫです。

【地理クイズについて】
地理が得意ではない方も関係ありません。是非ご参加下さい。
「なぜ、地理なのか？」とたまに聞かれますが、他の分野に比べて、地理が１番誰でも答えやすいからです。プロとアマチュアの差がありません。
学校で学習するような地理とはまた別物だと思って下さい。
例えば、題材が「歴史」とか「アニメ」の場合は１人がほとんど答えてしまうということが多いです。
尚、このクイズはクルーズ客船で人気があったものです。クルーズ客船でクイズに参加していた人も２名、参加予定です。

【私の経歴】
クルーズ客船で約２０年前から地理クイズの司会をしています。

【参加できる人】
年齢、性別、国籍問わずどなたでもご参加下さい。
ただし宗教やマルチ商法（ネットワークビジネ）の勧誘目的ではご参加頂けません。
特にマルチ商法の関係者は勧誘の意図が無くても参加出来ません。

【場所】クレオ大阪西（こども文化センター）２階　会議室
【アクセス】西九条駅(ＪＲ大阪環状線・阪神なんば線)から徒歩約5分
【時間】１２月２６日（日）１６時３０分～１９時
【参加費】無料！

駐輪場があるので自転車で来てもＯＫです。駐車場もありますが、少ないです。（１８台）
１階には図書館もあるので、早めに来て時間潰しも出来ます。

※「国際交流！」と書いてますが、必ず外国人が参加するという保証はありません。
また、予約人数が少ないと数日前にイベントを中止して仕事に行きます。是非ともお早めに予約下さい。
