【Cross Cultural Team Building / 文化を超えたチームビルディング】

今回のMeetupは全てのStartupが対面する問題、チームビルディングがテーマです。文化や言語の違うメンバーと如何にチームを作り上げていくか？その観点からスタートアップに発表してもらいます。今回はグロービス経営大学院 教員兼リコー　グローバル人事プログラムリードである
Darren Menabney氏に、チームビルディングについてお話いただきます。

【Speaker】
Darren Menabney | グロービス経営大学院 教員 | リコー　グローバル人事プログラムリード
20年以上にわたりカナダ政府の業務に従事。R＆D、ビジネス開発、技術移転、イノベーション戦略、外交施策などに携わる。2011年に来日、現在は大手多国籍企業でグローバル人事プログラムをリードしている。良いコミュニケーターを産み出すこと、そして彼らがプレゼンターとして独自のスタイルを見つけられるようサポートすることに情熱を傾けている。トロント大学 天体物理学科卒業、グロービス経営大学院(MBA)修了。

三浦謙太郎 (MIURA Ken) | DouZen, inc. | Founder & CEO
ソニー（株）にてVAIOやCLIEの商品企画を担当。2011年にDouZen, Inc.をサンフランシスコにて創業。次世代大画面UIを中心となるハード・ソフト製品であるHale Orbを開発・販売。米国在住歴25年以上。スタンフォード大学理学部卒。サンフランシスコ在住。

野々上　仁 (Jin Nonogami) | VELDT | Founder & CEO
1992年に京都大学卒業後、三菱化成株式会社（現：三菱化学株式会社）に入社。配属された光ディスク部門にて生産管理・新規営業や製品企画を担当。インターネットの世界に魅了され1996年にサン・マイクロシステムズに入社。通信会社やシステムインテグレーターの営業を経験し、経営企画室長や金融事業本部長等を経て2009年に執行役員就任。2010年のオラクル社による買収後は、日本オラクルにて執行役員およびバイスプレジデントとしてハードウェアの事業部門を指揮。IoTをテーマに次なるネットワークコンピューティングの世界に挑戦するため、2012年8月に株式会社ヴェルトを設立。

Team building is one of the key components of all business, and startups are no exception. We invite a special guest Prof. Darren Menabney(https://www.linkedin.com/in/dmenabney/), who's been working for Ricoh Company Limited as a leader in global organizational development initiatives strengthening employee engagement and building a stronger global culture among Ricoh’s 100,000 employees. He also teaches courses on Business Presentation and Critical Thinking to MBA students at GLOBIS Graduate School of Management.

You also will have an opportunity to talk to the speakers during the networking session.

【Speakers】
Darren Menabney | Professor at GLOBIS Business School in Tokyo and Lead of Global Employee Engagement at Ricoh

Darren Menabney leads global organizational development initiatives at Ricoh Company Limited, strengthening employee engagement and building a stronger global culture among Ricoh’s 100,000 employees. He also teaches MBA students at GLOBIS Graduate School of Management. Before moving to Tokyo in 2011, he spent over 20 years in Canada working for the federal government.

Ken Miura | DouZen, inc. | Founder and CEO
Ken started his career at Sony Corporation to work on the development and launch of the VAIO laptop product line. He co-founded DouZen, Inc. in 2011 in San Francisco. The DouZen team recently released the Hale Orb, a post-smartphone product in the home, enabling anybody, regardless of his or her technical skills, to easily connect with family members in remote places. Ken has a bachelor of science from Stanford University and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Jin Nonogami | VELDT | Founder & CEO
After graduating from Kyoto University, Jin joined Mitsubishi Chemical in 1992. He was attracted to the world of internet and joined Sun Microsystems in 1996. After management positions in the Corporate Planning Office and Finance Services Business Division, he was appointed as the Executive Officer at Sun Microsystems K.K. in 2009. Sun was then acquired by Oracle in 2010. He led the Systems Division as the Vice President and Executive Officer in Oracle for two years. Jin founded VELDT Inc. in August of 2012.
