## Build an effing’ Big Muff!

Build your favorite version of the Big Muff. Who doesn’t like the Big Muff? come to this workshop and build your own! I just got a bunch of Big Muff PCBs. All of the parts are numbered to match the schematics here: http://www.super-freq.com/pcb-projects/build-your-favorite-big-muff/

We will talk about putting together the PCB, soldering, and basic electronics concepts like ohms law, voltage dividers, and transistor amplifiers.

Thanks again to everyone who made it to the last event. Get your boards soldered, find an enclosure, the next session we put the board in a box and wire it up! If you're new to the event, come and start a new project!

From granny squares to amigurumi, crocheting is the entry way to a continent of handicrafts. Lauren will teach the basics and give us ideas on finding patterns, creating patterns and sourcing inspiration.

In this intro class you will learn how to:

1. tools and materials for crochet.
2. basic stitches
3. pattern instructions
4. and more

No experience necessary.

This is also an intro to the Noisebridge sewing room. No sewing experience necessary.

Noisebridge is a nonprofit that runs on donations. Suggested donation for this class is $15.00 but we do have a sliding scale, contact organizer for more information or a purchase code. Bring cash or look for a Noisebridge QR code in the space or make arrangements with the organizer ahead of time.

The class is on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator. If getting to the room would be difficult for you, contact the organizer about possible accommodations at least 48 hours before the class.

Learn how to be safe while using the laser cutter! We have a 150W, CO2 laser cutter with a 3 x 4 ft bed. This training is required to use the laser cutter because we don't want people setting our most expensive equipment donation on fire. You have to do this training even if you were trained at the old space, as we have different safety features now.

Training covers
* Dangers of the laser cutter
* How to be safe
* How to put out a fire

Each participant will cut a piece of cardboard on the laser cutter while following all the safety steps.

This is also a good place to ask questions about specific materials or projects. There is a 5$ fee to register, and we suggest a 20-30$ donation for this class: https://donate.noisebridge.net. If the registration fee is a barrier to your participation, please reach out to the event organisers.
