Okay, Hi! ð
Looking for Osaka Web Designers and Developers Meetup? You are in the correct location! We changed our name! Read more about why.
Let's tackle tech together. Under this motto we most often in Osaka but in Kyoto and other parts of Kansai to learn about all tech-related topics.
AI workflows? Definitely. UX of forms? Here we go! Wordpress Plugin? Cool thing. Secrets for AWS! Certainly. Usability of japanese websites? Yes, please. Career transition to techie? Bring it on!
We want to organize events with presentations and we welcome anyone to join and present their projects, ideas or new things they learned at the meetup. This meetup could be your opportunity to practice your presentation skills and/or find like-minded friends to exchange about life as web (semi-?) ð professional.

âHow far can you get in 90 minutes?
âOsaka Fasthacks is a one-night hacknight for people who'd rather ship something rough than plan something perfect. You'll form a team, pick an idea, and use AI tools to take it from nothing to a working demo before the night is over, then show it to the room.
âNo week-long grind, no overnight session. Show up after work, build, demo, go home.
âThis is the first in a new OKTech hackathon series. Kansai has two strong developer communities, one Japanese-speaking, one English-speaking, and they don't cross paths nearly often enough. We're building this series to change that: bringing founders and AI engineers from both sides into the same room to learn from each other, build together, and put the Kansai developer scene on the map. Start as you mean to go on, so come help us set the tone.
âBilingual by design. Japanese and English are both welcome; at the mic, in your team, and in your demo. You don't need to be fluent in the other one; mixed teams are the point, and AI is a surprisingly good translator when you get stuck.
âWho it's for
âFounders, AI engineers, developers, designers, product people, and students, anyone building with AI or curious about it. Beginners genuinely welcome. Come solo and we'll help you find a team at the kickoff; we'll happily pair you with people you wouldn't otherwise have met.
âWhat to bring
âA laptop, a charger, and an idea (optional, we'll have prompts on the night). Have your environment and AI tooling set up beforehand; all project code gets written on the night, prior projects will be penalized.
âThe theme Bridge Kansai / é¢è¥¿ãã€ãªã: Help Japanese and English speakers work, live, or hang out together.

Agentic Assembly - AI Engineering Support Group
The DECK Coworking 㶠ããã ã³ã¯ãŒãã³ã°ã¹ããŒã¹, 1F, 2-1-1 Minamihonmachi, Chuo Ward, Osaka, 541-0054 æ¬çºãµã¶ã³ãã«, Osaka, JPA meetup for engineers, vibe coders, and the curious, working at the bleeding edge of agentic engineering. A casual round table discussion every other Saturday morning, somewhere in Osaka.
Claude Code, Codex, and the wider agentic toolchain are reshaping how we build software. Agentic Assembly is a small gathering for engineers who'd like to have real discussions with real people rather than just reading another thread about it.
What we'll discuss
- Recent news from the agentic space
- Technology, workflows and techniques that actually work day-to-day
- Which tools in the agentic stack are worth adopting
- Emerging best practices for shipping with coding agents
- Applying agentic workflows across different domains
- How we're each adapting to the pace of changeExpect a high-level, peer-to-peer discussion. Software development is our main focus, but we want to explore how these patterns play out in other fields too. Come ready to share what you're experimenting with.
Who it's for
Users of AI and agentic coding tools (such as Claude Code, Codex, and similar) in real work, or those who are wanting to learn how they are being used. If you're hands-on or curious about how others are doing it, you'll fit right in.Details
- Where: TheDECK Co-Working Space, Osaka
- Access: Direct access from Exit 14, Sakaisujihommachi Station (Osaka Metro Sakaisuji / Chuo Line). Exit 7 of Hommachi Station on the Midosuji Line might be quicker if you don't mind a short walk.
- Capacity: Around 15 seats.
