the web is fascinating and while the web community in Osaka is sparkling, we do feel that there is little opportunity to exchange in english - the language of the web(?). In our meetups we often have presentations by our members on topic which are of their interest:
Wordpress Plugin? Cool thing. Secret for AWS! Certainly. Usability of japanese websites? Yes, please. Typography for Accessibility? Nice. Latest GraphQL framework? Definitely.
We want to organize events with presentations and we welcome anyone to join and present their projects, ideas or new things they learned at the meetup. This meetup could be your opportunity to practice your presentation skills and/or find like-minded friends to exchange about life as web (semi-?) 😉 professional.
Recently, more and more members from Kyoto have a hard time joining us, which is why we recently set up the KWDDM which, same like this here, is organized by volunteers. Any money we collect is just to cover our costs.

The end of the year is coming quickly and this is a time to huddle together and company of friends. For this occasion we are happy to have two interesting presenters join us.
As a researcher, PKK will be sharing ideas on how to "Build applications around Satellite imagery". Bringing insight into the available image data and showing what is possible! Join the → Discord Thread and share what sector you are in if you want some special preparations!
Tilmann, our security specialist, will be talking about how to deal with "Developer credentials and how to find them" - a timely topics as hacking of companies becomes a somewhat daily occurrence. (→ Discord Thread)
And finally, we'll have an end-of-year potluck. Bring your favorite snack*, homemade or not, and share it with the group. Bonus points if it's something none of us have eaten before! 🍪🐛🍦
