Theme: Texas Hold'em in English
Come join others for a fun night of Texas Hold'em competition and English conversation practice. People interested in practicing English (any level okay) as well as native speakers of English are invited.
Professional Poker Dealers + Equipment provided. Anybody can bring food and beverages (you can buy some beverages there).
Date & Time: The event will be held on Friday, starting at 7:20 pm (should end around 10:00pm, could possibly end as late as 11:00 pm for some).
Late Registration until 9:10.
Place: Billiard Corner Pocket in Kotobuki, Taito-ward, Tokyo
Ginza Line: Tawaramachi Station (from the 2nd Exit cross the street heading towards the SoftBank store, turn right once you cross the street and walk towards the Toyoko Inn. Billiard Corner Pocket is just passed the Toyoko Inn sharing a building with the Lawson. Please come to the 2nd floor. )

Other Details:
・Don’t know how to play poker? Please come! We will help you learn the basics.
・You can be up to 90 minutes late and still participate.
・If you are eliminated early, there will be one free re-entry. If you are eliminated again you can re—enter again until the end of round 5. After round 5 there will be practice tables where you can practice your poker and English up until the tournament is over if you wish.
・English will be used to run the tournament
・Rules are provided by the Japan Poker Association
・This is not a gambling event. There are no cash prizes.
・Anyone over 20 can participate.
・There will be other people attending this event not on the Meetup Website.
