TGDC8 Announced: January 18th, 3:30pm
詳細
Pull up a seat at Tokyo Gaming Discussion Club, Meetup Tokyo's (and all of Japan's) only drop-in gaming monthly discussion club!
After a December siesta, the club will lurch back to life in the new year, fueled by conversations about our top gaming moments, the games of 2025, the ones ahead in 2026, or wherever the dialogue choices take us.
So get ready for Tokyo Gaming Discussion Club Session 8, hereafter known as TGDC8, for another round of freewheeling gaming conversation.
How TGDC works is you can have the chance to drop in and share what you’re playing, any thoughts about gaming, and even if you don’t really play games but are swooned by the ethereal nature of them in the zeitgeist, you’re welcome to contribute all the same too.
Basically TGDC is your favorite gaming podcast, except instead of listening, you yourselves get to be the hosts of it for two hours. And no unskippable ads for premade cooking kits!
The club has only two rules:
1. Any level or background interest in gaming is more than enough to be a club member. Well, I guess that’s not really a rule is it?
OK, the club has only one important rule and even than it’s more of a important heads-up per say:
How to attend (please read this very carefully so you don’t miss our next session!!)
The Tokyo Gaming Discussion Club will meet at exactly 3:30pm right in the inside entrance of Italian Tomato Caffè Vigore, Komaba, the University of Tokyo. I’ll (host) try to get there 10 minutes or so early so you can see me right there to know you’re in the right place for the right thing.
I will be holding a laminated sign of our lovingly human made (non-AI-generated) logo.
Once we gather in front of the cafe at 3:30pm, we will either meet at the cafe or go to another backup location on campus with caffeinated drinks and sweets in hand to guarantee 10+ person side-by-side seating, so please gather by my held sign (and self) so we don’t get separated when we head off to our finalized roundtable!
Apologies again that if you arrive after 3:30pm you may miss our month’s session, as my focus as host will be on holding our session once we begin.
If all this sounds good to you, hope to see you on January 18th! Also, TGDC8 is free to attend. But please RSVP ahead.
Thanks and hope you can join in!
