24XX SciFi fun! Birth of the ArchAndroid or The Extropic Sphere

詳細
Let's have some good old SciFi fun!
You know the future exploring, full of lasers and explosions, and a little thought provoking.
I have 2 great scenarios to choose from (we'll vote or roll):
2700: Birth of the ArchAndroid
Their fortunes were built on the backs of slaves. For centuries, robots represented cheap labor. Still, corporatocracies pushed the limits of AI until the line between sentience and software blurred. Like humans, droids and bots began demanding equality, equity... freedom. But for the upper caste, such social reorganization represents massive profit losses. After all, giving rights to machines is a slippery slope—where does it end?
24XX: The Extropic Sphere
There is an ancient, decaying alien megastructure surrounding the star at the center of this system. It’s something like a dyson sphere, if a dyson sphere were made of self-organizing bio-mechanical metamaterials that could be used for just about anything and the most advanced tech anyone has ever seen. Only the driven or desperate venture there. Lethal automated security systems and combat bots, all of it open to hard vacuum. And if you meet anyone there? Shoot first and don’t stop until they’re dead. They’re worse than the sphere because they’re just. like. you.
24XX is a small, fast and powerfull system for microadventures by Jason Tocci. I'll bring the dice and prints, you bring good vibes,... and a little suspension of belief! Deal?
Notes:
- The system is very simple and beginner friendly.
- You don't need to bring anything, you can bring a set of dice (4-20) and a pencil.
