⚠️🚨🚨The author will be with us in June! The Girl with the Louding Voice, published in 2020, tells the story of a 14-year-old girl promised to a forced marriage with an old man in her village. Despite numerous obstacles, she fights to achieve her dream of becoming a teacher and empowering other young girls facing the same fate. The novel partly written in Pidgin is both funny and inspiring. The sequel to this first book was published in 2024. It is named « And So I Roar ». Abi Daré is a award-winning author. Her debut novel The Girl with the Louding Voice won the Bath Novel Award in 2018 before it was published, and was shortlisted for several prizes for first novels, including the Desmond Elliott Prize. More recently, her second novel And So I Roar won the inaugural Climate Fiction Prize, a major international award recognising outstanding climate-themed fiction. Both books are available in Luxembourg librairies!

Casemates is one of Luxembourg's English-speaking Toastmasters clubs - here you’ll find a supportive and friendly environment which will allow you to develop your communication skills, become a confident leader and have fun! In this session we'll explore strategies to protect our codebases through unit and integration testing, documentation, and code review along with additional ways of providing context and guard rails to our AI agents as they carry out the work we've assigned them to do.
