Moonlight Hike and Social - Bob Hunter Park - Moderate (Free)
Moonlight Hike and Social - Bob Hunter Park - Moderate (Free)
We will hike at a moderate pace for 6 - 7 km in 2 hrs or less. Please bring a headlamp or a flashlight. Let's hope it will be clear so we can see the sun at night. The moon can get bright enough to turn off our headlamps while we hike, so if you haven't experienced a night hike, come out and enjoy the adventure. Just don't be the last in line.😬 The trail weaves through the forest, along a pathway, and in open medows, giving us many opportunities to admire the moon. This hike is about the energy of the moon. The trails are icy, so bring your Crampons. _After the hike, we can go to Colonel Mustards Pub for a bite to eat and/or a New Year drink._ **Note** * **Ice cleats are mandatory!** * Arrive on time! Please dont let the group wait. * Know your limits! Choose the hike that matches your fitness level. * Dress for the conditions. * Free Parking * No Dogs * The hike will be canceled if the weather doesn't cooperate. ***Hike leaves promptly at 6:00 PM*** **LEGAL DISCLAIMER AND LIABILITY INFORMATION:** By RSVP'ing and paying the event fee (if applicable), you are confirming that you have read, understand and accept the following: 1. Moon Hike - Tommy Thompson Park
Moon Hike - Tommy Thompson Park
Our group will leave at the posted time, so please arrive early. Please cancel your RSVP if you can't make it. How fast, how far? Assume 4.5 km/h for a distance of ~7km. The path is a paved, but we might go on some trails as well, plus snow is likely so be prepared for anything. The route is flat. It's mostly in clear land, but we'll come across a few forested areas as well. The route is a "there and back again" so we will finish where we originally start from. Bring water, a snack, and hiking footwear for a distance walk. We're getting to the point in the year where icers are required. Although the forecast is clear, please have them on hand in case. New Year - New Pathways Mushroom Medicine Ceremony
New Year - New Pathways Mushroom Medicine Ceremony
*The ceremony will be held at our beautiful studio 'The Soul Sanctuary'* *in Leslieville, Toronto* ***Hosted by Chris Dub & Jennifer Mya.*** **Are you ready to:** * Slow down, and have the space to integrate & assimilate all the lessons you've been given? * Forgive your past-self and those in your life, and feel drenched in love so you can move forward from a place of joy & empowerment? * Feel held as you look at negative thought patterns, and truly work through the outdated beliefs associated with them? * Greatly reduce tress, free yourself from anxiety, worry, and self-doubt, and receive messages & tools to address depression? * Have a life changing spiritual experience? * Feel incredible love & gratitude for every experience that has brought you to this point, and become the creator of your life moving forward? **Join us, dear Soul.** This ceremony will support you to nurture and strengthen the new pathways you are choosing to take mentally, physically and spiritually to ensure you are a living a life that feels in rhythm with your body and soul. And of course help you along the way to ensure you are getting the love you need as you feel into and let go of the pain, hurt, unworthiness, not enoughness and the struggle that we can all feel victim to at times. Come be in a space of love, forgiveness, and compassion, unlearning the ways you've been taught to judge your *very* human emotions and thoughts. ***You deserve to feel the love and support that's all around you, so you can bring forward the gifts and purpose you came here to share.*** The mind can be sticky, but when you experience genuine love it clarifies any confusion of who you truly are. ***This ceremony is an opportunity for just that: to open up to the authentic love that is innate within you, which opens up your heart, and helps you gain control of the mind.*** **This ceremony will help you forgive yourself, learning to love the darker aspects that are rising to be seen and witnessed.** Cultivate a deeper love for the past versions of you, as well as others who have negatively impacted you. Gratitude is the open door to freedom, and ***when you recognize the gifts of the lessons life has given you - it becomes easier to let go of the anger, resentment, and regret***. As you unravel what has been tight within you, there is a natural alchemy that takes place within the body. Energy blocks and stagnation are unfurled, allowing you to open to more love, and the flow of vital life force energy. ***You will feel a loving space to heal and process through old traumas, ancestral karma, and become more astutely aware of ego identification, leading to more freedom, peace, and simplicity.*** **Release negative thought patterns, rewiring your nervous system for peace, harmony, and balance.** Be held in safe space so you can look at the negative thoughts and limiting beliefs that hold you back from feeling your freest, clearest, most alive and fully expressed self. Regulate your system through the awareness of breath, body (all levels - mental, emotional, physical & energetic), your 5 senses, and extrasensory perceptions. ***As you re-balance and re-align your system you will be able to see your internal experience more clearly, and also recognize why other people are the way they are, allowing you to have more compassion and forgiveness both for others and yourself.*** The more ***aware*** you are, the better ***regulated*** you are, and from that space you can become the master of your domain. You deserve the space and time to simply be, rest, rejuvenate, and feel the aliveness of living life moment by moment for YOU! **You are fully supported throughout the entire journey.** This ceremony includes the optional combination of pure MDMA along with the psilocybin mushrooms. We have found these medicines work very synergistically together, and offer an amplified level of heart opening. The pure MDMA is optional, and the dosing for both medicines will be based upon your intentions, disposition, prior experience, and current state at the time of the ceremony. After this ceremony you will feel more love for yourself and others, with a heightened sense of courage, strength, and integrity. ***You will want to make better choices, and also have the self-awareness needed to stay accountable to yourself.*** This level of love and clarity will emanate out to reach and impact all those closest to you. **This is an invitation to open up your heart, and love and forgive yourself through unconditional acceptance. To awaken to your divinity and beauty, and access your greatest gifts of self-healing and conscious creatorship.** **Ceremony Preparation & Integration** Prior to the ceremony you will receive an in-depth **plant medicine workbook** to help you prepare, questions to ask yourself and a recommended diet to support your experience. We will meet as a group before the ceremony for an **Intention Setting Call**, to connect with each other and share our intentions for the journey. You will also receive a **nervous system regulating practice** that supports in expanding internal awareness, grounding, centering and overall mindfulness. Solopreneurs Drinking Coffee — First Event
Solopreneurs Drinking Coffee — First Event
First attempt at this. If it's good, we'll do it again. If it sucks, we tried. (Event photo is from a recent trip to Flagstaff. Stock photos of fake people drinking coffee are the worst.) **Why I'm doing this:** You're the average of the people you spend the most time with. Running a business solo means I've been spending most of my time with myself. And AI tools, which are great for thinking through business problems, but terrible for actual human connection. I want to raise that average. Looking for people who want real conversations. Not networking, not pitches, just the kind of talk that makes you think differently about what you're building and why. If we all end up making a few friends along the way, even better. **What to expect:** Coffee. Conversation. No pitches, no elevator speeches, no going around the table introducing ourselves like it's a corporate icebreaker. Just show up and talk like a normal human. **Ground rules:** * No pitching your business * No recruiting * No MLM talk * No hustle porn **RSVP cap:** 6 people max so it doesn't turn into a crowd. **Location:** Transcend Coffee & Roastery in Grove City **Time:** Friday, January 16th at 11 AM. See you there!
Wild Ones: Annual Native Seed Swap
Wild Ones: Annual Native Seed Swap
Wild Ones: Annual Native Seed Swap January 10, 2026 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am Join Wild Ones Columbus for their annual native seeds swap. If you have native seeds to share, please label them with the Latin name and common name. The seeds don’t need to be removed from the seed head if you aren’t sure how to do it, but remove as much stem as possible. Bringing seeds is not required. Bring bags or envelopes to store seeds. Inniswood Metro Gardens 940 S. Hempstead Rd. Westerville, OH 43081 Phone (614)895-6216 This event will be held in the Greenhouse/Multipurpose Building located near the east end of the parking lot. Click here to see the Inniswood map. If you have native seeds to share, label each species with this information: * Botanical Name * Common Name Species we will accept: * Species native to our ecoregion (8.2.4) - Best * Species native to Ohio and surrounding states - Good * Straight species only - no cultivars. The seeds don’t need to be removed from the seed head if you aren’t sure how to do it, but don’t leave much stem on the seed heads. Please email the list of species to Mary May so we can prepare information for attendees. You can bring the seeds on the day of the swap, or we can arrange to have them picked up beforehand - just let her know in the email. If you don’t have any seeds to bring, no worries. If you are new to native plants or didn't have time to collect seeds, there are ALWAYS plenty from those that do bring them! We love to see "newbies" at our seed exchange! Also, remember to bring something to put seeds in such as envelopes, paper bags or containers.
