Futurology is the study of the future. This group is for discussions about the future, especially new technologies that are transforming our civilization now or may do so fairly soon. Topics that might be of interest include technologies that can stop or reverse the effects of aging, bitcoin, nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, robots, predictions of the "singularity", genetic engineering, cyborgism, the ongoing shift to new energy sources, building cities in space, new space propulsion ideas and technologies such as the EM Drive, the Woodward Effect, the Heim Theory and the Alcubierre warp drive that could make it much easier to reach other planets and star systems.
